Best place for Italian shopping everything is delicious I've been going here most of my life. Also their preparation for sandwiches to go always delicious and freshly made. Can't beat the views outside having lunch today ?

Bought several things from fresh baked bread to balsamic chicken, chicken cacciatore and some hot chicken soup. All delicious and fed us for 4 days. Prices were reasonable and well worth the trip.

It's a grocery store and they had a little cafe in the corner. I have the biggest sweet tooth and I had to get gelato was blown away by their prices.

One of our favorite markets anywhere. In town for a conference so early Sunday went there on our way out of town. Picked specialty items for at least three meals this week, please some staples such as their own marinated olives and a champagne liver pate. And of course a fresh warm batard, some of which was torn off as breakfast for the 6 hour ride home in the snow.
See this place used to be nice to eat at, to shop at, hell just to visit however it has gone very far downhill. I’m a loud and proud Ginny but this is not what once was. The food at the shop and restaurant is sub par, this used to be my go to and the place I’d send anyone for groceries or prepared foods for the holidays. Now it’s a shell of what it once had. The food at the restaurant is even worse than that it’s produced so fast and en masse that it’s like eating at Marchettis, but at least with the slop at Marchettis you get a better portion for your money. I strongly suggest they go back to their roots but what do I know the neighborhood isn’t the same so at least half the clientele doesn’t have traditional Italian food at home to compare the food from Venda to. I really hope you guys can go backwards because it would be for the better.

I went there tonight to get some last minute things, and one thing I needed was a nice loaf of bread. They had one loaf left, and we heard an employee claim it. He heard me ask for more bread and he insisted that I take it. Said “his dad could wait”. Patty Ice is the man. Great service there.

To the fat guy at the deli counter who sliced my $31 a pound prosciutto ham...I asked you layer my deli meats between sheets of paper. Instead you packaged it like it was trash going in a garage can. Thanks for nothing!

Fabulous selection of tantalizing foods and gifts year-round! When I walk through the door It is transporting me...the beautiful displays draw you in, everyone is helpful but never pushy, and the selection is overwhelming so I have my list of items I want to pick up. For me it's like being a kid again and I look forward to going every time. When I am planning a party, I love to enhance my menu by adding a few specialties from Venda :) Happy holidays. I'll be there this week!!
