We went here Easter Day, everywhere else was full(which we expected). We found this place walking to a crosswalk by chance. We were welcomed in. Myself and my son got french toast, my girlfriend got eggs Benedict. When it came out I had a chuckle cause I was not expecting half a loaf of bread. But omg it was so good and light. My girlfriend couldn't stop eating her Benedict although she was full. My son enjoyed his also. The drinks the adults ordered was fantastic and mixed well. My son got chocolate milk. We paid 15$ a plate for the french toast, 22$ for the Benedict and around 12$ for the drinks not the milk though. You get your money's worth. A small place but absolutely worth it. Look at the pics it says it all.

I stopped by for brunch and ordered the Cajun shrimp and grits. The grits were not as smooth and creamy as I like, but the shrimp were flavored well which helped the dish. The beignets were hard and didn't come with the powdered sugar as shown on the menu. The decor and our server, Christy, was nice. I won't return for brunch, but I may consider them for dinner.

What a great find! Service, atmosphere, and food were all excellent. Our party had the ago special, the chicken, and the shrimp and were all delighted. Our server and the manager made us feel like family, or at least like regulars. Wonderful experience.

Food was delicious, great hosts and relaxed cozy ambience. Having dined at 5 star restaurants all over the world, our standards are high and we tend to have low hopes when trying a new place even if it has good reviews. To our surprise the food was superb and the prices were very reasonable (other places could get away with charging double and less quality). Portions were very generous and everything was delicious (we tried half the menu, large group, shared and even took leftover food to go). Our server went above and beyond to make sure our meals were kosher and was attentive to every detail. Thank you for making my wife's birthday special! Kudos to Vino Veritas staff and management!

We had a wonderful experience here. We were welcomed at the door and seated by the owner. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable. Our waitress was wonderful as well. We started our meal with arugula and prosciutto flatbread which was delicious, not overwhelming and feeling stuffed after. We continued with the soup of the day, Stracciatella and French onion. Both were very good. For dinner, chicken parm which was the best ever had and the Gorgonzola filet which was delicious. Definitely a place you will enjoy and we can't wait to come back to visit again!

One of the best Italian restaurants in RI. From the cozy setting, to the great service, personal interest of the owner (who is there very night) and the DELICIOUS dishes! You should try this place.

This is a fave of ours for brunch in Providence - great beignets, croque madame and the dark chocolate hot cakes are amazing. Reservations are recommended as the place is on the smaller side.

A group of us had just left a super congested street fair near Federal Hill and were looking for a quiet spot for lunch. Driving down Broadway, YELP directed us to Vino Veritas. The place was empty, we arrived just an hour before closing on a Sunday, but we were seated at a cozy table and our server was attentive and great! We ordered a white sangria and a Mimosa. The sangria was a standout. For our meals we ordered:Eggs Benedict-Looked wonderful, eggs perfectly poached and nicely seasoned potatoes on the sideThe Brunch Burger-Wowee! It was huge and I mean one of the tallest, piled on burgers i've ever seen! Positive reports on that! The Avocado Toast-This was the only disappointment, but it was really disappointing. What appeared to be super market white bread, topped with a small bit of sliced avocado with a small arugula salad on the side. That was it!

As we were walking around exploring the area, we stumbled upon this place. The owner was outside attending to his plants and welcomed us in about 10 minutes before opening. We had an amazing light lunch but it was so delicious, that we went back for dinner. GO!! It was wonderful!!!!!

From the excellent food to the exceptional service this restaurante has it all. It's classy yet comfortable and the staff goes above and beyond. Here's an example of why....As we were getting ready to leave the owner approached us and apologized because another customer had taken home our leftovers. Even though the kitchen was closed he insisted on sending us home with fresh dishes, so we would have leftovers. Then while we waited for the extra food he came out and shared an after dinner drink with us. The food is delicious and my party really enjoyed the fra diavolo.

We’ve eaten at many Italian restaurants here and in Europe. Vino Veritas in Providence RI was THE BEST EVER. The service Was excellent, the chef able to create what we asked about, and the bolognese sauce was by far, the most excellent we’ve tasted. We stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around the block of our bread and breakfast. We would come back to Rhode Island just for this restaurant.
