Great food. My wife , who is from China, likes the food as well. If she likes it, you know it must to be good?

I ordered some skewers and ramen. The ramen a bit oversalted but fine. But the skewers are cold. The quail eggs are even colder inside.

Was craving a bowl of beef noodle soup and have been meaning to try this spot, so here we are! The beef noodle soup definitely satisfied the craving--the broth was flavorful and delicious and came with a generous helping of beef slices, but the noodles were definitely not chewy as I had hoped and I believe there was an entire one bok choy in the bowl. We also tried the quail egg BBQ, which also hit the spot, and the enoki mushroom BBQ, which somehow was $3 (a small travesty). Overall, a bit pricey, but does the trick--will continue searching for the perfect beef noodle soup in the meantime!

What an amazing time! They were extremely kind, and made the experience one of a kind. Definitely will be coming back here, if I find myself in back in providence.

Awesome restaurant, with super friendly service! There was no wait, food came out quick and was delicious. Definitely a must-stop place, when on Thayer St, or Providence in general

We order from this place all the time. Usually delivery from Uber Eats. We always put in the notes we want an extra egg with the ramen, which comes with a BOILED egg. This time we got no boiled egg in the ramen and a side fried egg, which is very strange. So we called the restaurant and they told me I asked for a fried egg. I have the copy of my order on the app so that doesn't hold. I asked why I didn't even get the 1 egg that it comes with and why would I get a fried egg if I asked for an extra. He then passed me off to the chef who again insisted I ordered a fried egg. Then he said if I'm going to cry about it I can come get an egg. I was thrown back b/c first of all we are repeat customers AND they keep saying I made the mistake and I was harassing his staff. What kind of customer service is this?? The good news is Uber refunded us and this place lost a good customer who was willing to over pay for their mediocre food b/c not many places deliver ramen. We will find a better place. Good bye!

Tasty skewers. Love their pork and pork ribs. Their matcha and crème brûlée puddings are good too. Tried their cola wings, but I regret it; too sweet for my palate. Overall a nice spot for a little pick-me-up.

I ordered ramen and honestly it was so salty I threw it out. The eggs I received were a dark brown color which doesn't seem okay to eat at all. Terrible standards for their food. Won't be ordering from here ever again. Ugh.

Came twice for lunch when we drove from boston area to Providence. Found this place by accident and by luck. LOVEd the food! Quite authentic and very tasty! The place was clean and pleasant and the service very good! Will come again and hopefully for dinner also!

Was not impressed, it smelled like cumin as you walk in. It's on all the skewers and the wings. Kind of boring. I love chicken skin skewers done right and theirs was not it. And the ramen my husband and son got was not memorable. But the biggest disappointment came with my beef noodle soup - blend soup lack of flavor, the beef in it was chewy and also lack of flavor. The noodle in it - not the right kind of noodle either, too soft. I could not finish the beef or the soup, which is a very rare thing for me.

Excellent barbecue with a variety of skewers. The meat is tender and the veggies are boiled prior to grilling, making them very flavorful. The prices are fair and it's an excellent treat for folks who are fans of northeastern cuisine.

I've been wanting to try Wow Barbecue ever since they popped up a little ways off of Thayer. While they have some tough competition across the street (Den Den), I had some faith because they've been getting some pretty good reviews. Verdict: not impressed. A lot of their menu items are pricier than I expected. So of course, I steered clear from those dishes priced at $20+. I wanted to order their General Tso's chicken rice bowl but they "ran out" at 11:50 am... how is that possible, you ask? I couldn't tell ya, bud. I ended up trying the Beijing Zha Jiang Mian. Not bad but definitely not that great. Should be priced at $7 instead of $12. It is not very filling and there isn't a great variety of flavor there. I may give Wow Barbecue another chance but unless Chinatown on Thayer is closed, it is likely that I won't pass up their good food, huge portions, and reasonable prices for Wow. Sorry, Wow.

We were seated & then ignored for 10 minutes so we left! Very disappointing!

Tasty noodle bowls! Location a tad small so not much seating available.
