There are so many flavors! My brother and I were on day 4 of a 5-day backpacking trip when we stopped here. Really excellent outdoor seating area, with shade from trees and some nice-looking large rocks nearby. This place had basically every type of ice cream you could want. We also refilled our water bottles from a hose attached to the outside of the place. Great stop, exceeded expectations!

Butterscotch soft serve was incredible! Everyone was so nice and helpful. The soft serve and ice cream were so delicious and they were giant so I recommend getting a small size because they are pretty big. Overall, this place was awesome!!!

It's a local favorite and I live in town, but they carry Bliss Ice Cream out of Attleboro and if I'm craving Ice Cream, I want it to have a high butterfat content. Bliss comes in around 12%, a step above Friendly's or Newport Creamery. Ben & Jerry's comes in around 14%, so this gives you a bit of perspective. If I'm going to an Ice Cream shop and paying top dollar, it's going to be one that makes their own. For what they offer here, their prices are tad on the high side. As much as I try to support small, local businesses over corporate entities, for what it costs for a small cup of average Ice Cream, I can go a quarter of a mile further and get a pint of Ben & Jerry's at the Stop & Shop just up the road. If you have kids, then this shop will suffice. But if you love truly great, made on the premises Ice Cream, this won't cut it for you.

After a long drive, I needed a break and some ice cream. Two scoops were exactly what I needed: strawberry and chocolate chip. Perfect.

Good ice cream, but a little pricey. A small waffle cone $8 ...

I'm glad I stopped by Lickety Splits just as they opened for the season this year. It's a classic seasonal stand that offers not only several dozen flavors of ice cream, but also lots of other sweet treats like froyo, slushies, smoothies, and shakes. Prices seemed a tad elevated for both the soft-serve and hard ice cream, so it was a no-brainer to go big for a sundae that didn't cost that much more. The peanut butter bonanza sundae featured a choice of ice cream at the base, topped with peanut butter, mini-Reese's pieces, whipped cream, and a Reese's peanut butter cup. Given that it was still cold out when I stopped by, it took a delightfully long time to melt, so I was able to enjoy it slowly as I made my way through the Ocean State on a road trip. A solid local find!

Very good ice cream, but the prices are very high. I have enjoyed other ice cream places more, and their ice cream was better and so were the prices.

Stopped for an old fashioned soft serve twist. The girls were quick and polite, despite the long lines of children who had just left soccer practice. There is a play area on the side of the ice cream stand with rocks where the kids can jump around. There are a picnic tables as well.
