The service is always excellent. I meet a friend for breakfast which should always be good but isn't. The eggs over easy are runny and not good. Who messes up eggs? The room is dark and old. Go somewhere else.

the home fries should never have left the kitchen. They were not burned, they were charred. They looked like pieces of charcoal. Sometimes when we have had the home fries, they are not cooked enough. Someone needs to pay attention to the food leaving the kitchen.

Had breakfast here over the weekend. Food was great and good size portions. Waitress was attentive and friendly. I look forward to going back next time I'm in the area. Would definitely recommend for a good old fashioned breakfast!

I wanted to say something when we were there, but my husband did not want me to.the place is adorable. The staff is wonderful but the food is horrible. We eat out at least three times a week and when we walked out we were sitting in the car and another couple walked out, and we had our door open so we started a conversation and they hated their food, the place is adorable and staff is great. You just need to get a cook that can cook. I hate to see you’re not make it but people are not going to go back and eventually your going to run out of customers. My husband was dying for the honey chicken. If they didn’t cook that chicken three times they didn’t cook it at all. It was hard as a rock and drier than dry. He took one bite of his chowder and could not take another one. I only had mozzarella sticks and really can’t mess them up. However, they could’ve been a little hotter.

I joined three friends for breakfast. Although the food was delicious, It was over-salted! I had the Irish Bennie with home fries. No gluten-free options. No nondairy creamer for the coffee (no soy milk, oat milk or almond milk. No Stevia.

Updating my review because I last submitted a review in 2016. Some of the staff have since changed and they are under new ownership. The food and service at Merola's Granite Farm are better than ever! I often order their chicken parm dinner, minus cheese, because it's the best chicken I've ever had. Their tomato sauce is fresh, bright, and delicious. If I'm not in the mood for pasta, I order an eggplant grinder with sweet potato fries. The eggplant is crispy on the outside and velvety on the inside - phenomenal! Sweet potato fries are always good. I'm usually not a fan of breakfast because of my food allergies but I LOVE their breakfast items! I usually order a bunch of sides. Their carved ham is fantastic, their homefries are excellent, and you can't go wrong with their cinnamon baked apples or a grilled English muffin. Staff are personable, attentive, and friendly. You have the option of eating near the cozy bar, or in the larger dining area. Very beautiful. Love it here!!

First time I ordered a chicken marsala dinner from them it was bland and I tasted more butter and garlic sauce then wine sauce. So I called and spoke to the owner about the meal I received and he said Thank you for the feedback and that he would look into it with the cook that was on that night so he reimbursed us which I thought was nice so me and my wife gave them a second chance since they are right down the road from us. So I ordered the same thing again but with more marsala wine in it...it wasn't much different then the first time still bland and tasteless which was even more dissapointing then the last time! My wife ordered the scallops and they smelt and had a strong stench of Ammonia which then I new they were old scallops and it could of got us seriously sick or could of killed us..I was not happy and very angry because that's when I realized this place is a kitchen nightmare. Another thing that ticked me off was that they would'nt even give me a side salad with my meal because its only for eat in the restaraunt only not pick up? But they told me they could make me a $11 dollar cobb salad instead? I have never in my life been refused a side salad that is included with the meal on a pick up order? Obviously after this second attempt I come to realize the new owners are careless about the food quality and they are not looking out for the customer or looking over what the cook is sending out. We are not the type of people that like to leave bad reviews we would just never go back to eat there, but after the bad scallops we wanted people to be cautious of this place so no one gets sick. We are very disappointed since it was close to our home and us being new to the area would of been a great takeout or dine in choice. This Place seems dirty, very overpriced, and signs show its not a very clean establishment. Will not be going back
