One of the best sandwich shops I have been to. Anywhere. Let alone RI. I have lived in 8 states and been to almost all. Just come here, order what sounds best, and be ready to enjoy. Perfectly made with premium ingredients. Staff is always on point.

2000 was my first Js sub when i attended Bryant.. 24 years later I still grab a sub any chance i can get.. I am not in Rhode Island often, but when I am in the area, you can bet i'm stopping.. This latest trip i got lunch and tried The Soprano for the first time.. Amazing was an understatement.. Before heading back to NH i swung in again to grab another sub to bring home for dinner. For that one, I grabbed the best one on the menu, The Bull Dog. After 24 years I have no idea how many Js sandwiches i have had, but i can say, I have never had a bad one..The old school deli feel, with subs being made in full view is awesome.. If you have never had a Js sub before, please try one…. This place needs ro keep things going for another 25+ years..

Been enjoying J's for decades.. but our most recent subs were very disappointing. Especially the chicken cutlet that was SO burnt, overcooked and dry ..basically uneatable. We agreed it's our last visit.

Best one in the state. Order ahead if you want to get in and out. Otherwise, you're going to wait in line for 20 minutes with everyone else and their sister for a sandwich. Worth it either way, the food is pretty good here.Parking: Big paved lot shared by several businesses. Ample space for bobtail tractors and trucks with landscape trailers to get in and turned around.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible building, Wheelchair parking spaces, too.
Haven't been here in years. The food wasn't quite as good as I remember. I ordered the Pilgrim. It was a bit dry and there bread wasn't as fresh as it used to be. I wish there was more seating for those waiting, but the space is really limited. They are not there to make friends, they are there to take your order, make your order and send you on your way.

One of our favorites for great deli subs! Large selection to choose from, made fresh to order both hot and cold. Staff is friendly and service is quick. There is a small eat in area in the deli, we usually do take out. Highly recommend!

J’s deli is a must for lunch. You definitely get what you pay for here. Although I have only ordered “The Roman” and “The Waldorf” bc I am picky about sandwiches but these hit the spot everytime! I definitely recommend those looking for a good chicken parm to try The Roman!!

Great deli experience! High efficiency service and great quality food. I got an Italian with everything, toasted and it was perfect. Portions are good and they have just about everything you could expect to find at a corner deli and sandwich shop! Will certainly be back again!
