This was my first time eating here. We had a friend who recommended the place, so we decided to check it out. We met Joe (one of the owners) and he was more than happy to answers any questions we had about the menu. He also gave us some recommendations and some samples of some of the food! Joe was great and so was the food! Since everything is made fresh and homemade it takes about 20-30 if you don’t call ahead. That was no big deal as we walked over to whalers brewery near by for a beer while we waited. We got the October noodles, pork buns, jayd fusion pancakes. Everything was great. I don’t like spicy but the October noodles were just the right amount to give it flavor but not where your mouth is on fire. So I liked that! Everything was fresh. There’s also plenty of parking which is a plus. We will be returning!

It was worth the 30 minute drive!!!! Had a free sample of the jayd fusion. Man oh man, flavorful and had a crunchy bottom almost like a pan fried scallion pancake but better. Will drive and get different items.

The husband and wife are hands down amazing! They made us feel right at home for a take out spot, there is a sitting area outside though! The food was amazing and flavorful! My husband could not get enough along with my kids. Thank you to both of you so much for your service and going above and beyond and providing us with waters and having us taste test more food! You both created such a great restaurant! I can not wait to be back on another cheat day!

This is Asian food like you've never had before. Everything prepared to order by a chef who grew up in China and harkens back to the traditional food of her youth. We had pork buns, scallion pancakes, and October noodles. All delicious and very generous portions.Parking: Small-ish lot on side of restaurant.

went to jayd bun for my first time today and it was unbelievable. i got pork buns and at the time i arrived only 4 were ready instead i got 2 chicken, a discount, a coupon, and a free tea. the food and service are in sync with the great quality, leaving you with the “ i cant wait to come back” taste in your mouth.

This place is a hidden gem! You have to try it just to be blown away on how amazing it is. The authentic nature of real cooking is the most obvious thing. Everything being made to order, nothing siting under a heat lamp. Always call ahead to place order, I hear of people driving from a far and being disappointed that they have to wait for about an hour for their food, well what do you expect??! Its as real as you can get, the most delicious food that brings a whole culture to your dinner experience. If you haven't checked or read their story, please do! They are the kindest well rounded people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The pride they take in making fantastic food is beyond comprehension. What would I recommend? Everything, there isn't one thing I wouldn't recommend. Great place 5 Stars!

I gave a two star because the wontons were really good. Unfortunately all of our Jayd buns were burnt. I have ordered in the past which is why I traveled far to get them, ( they were perfect). Not sure what happened this time (maybe an off day). They weren’t edible. I was very shocked that they were given like that. ?

I am so thankful that my friends Diep, Justin and Troy took me to this wonderful restaurant.I being a foodie myself, can attest to the fact that Jayd Bun by far is the best of the best.As you walk into this small restaurant you experience the wonderful smells of the cooking along with the kind and warm hospitality from both Joe, Annie and their staff.I live in Thailand but this little gem in Rhode Island, with it's freshly made food is absolutely amazing.I recommend this to everyone. My family came here for the first time this past week and we were blown away by how good the food was. There is really nothing like this around here. We got two orders of Jayd Fusion, buns and October. All of them were fantastic. The staff there is incredibly friendly and they are some of the most caring people you will ever meet.
