An absolutely delightful local gem! We're so happy that Purslane has now graced Main St. for more than a year. I believe we have tried everything on the menu, as well as some of the delicious beverages. They often have specials which are always just that... quite a special treat! Favorites include the local seafood options, salads, and, of course, the butterhead sandwiches. A very welcome addition to Wakefield and we look forward to frequenting them for years to come.

We LOVE Purslane! It’s taken me way too long to write this review but we had been so excited to see them building out the restaurant last year and have been back so many times and it has never disappointed.We have friends who live an hour away and make the drive regularly to come here. The food is amazing, you really can’t go wrong with the choice you make. My suggestion is always get the special if they have it so you don’t miss out on whatever wonderful thing they’ve come up with at that moment. The service is always really awesome, friendly, helpful with suggestions and quick. Looking forward to visiting again and again.

My parents and I had lunch here last week and loved the ambiance. The decor was fun and quirky, but warm. The food was delicious and the service was great. The only reason that I am giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that the menu is limited for vegetarians. They did have a veggie dog option, so I had a kimchi dog and it was great. My dad had the gabagool sandwich and said it was delicious and filling, and my mom had the grilled cheese. We shared a basket of fries, which was large enough for the three of us. The fries were a bit overdone, but still pretty tasty. We will definitely go back, but would love to see a few more vegetarian options next time.

Honestly a bad experience. My partner and I went to grab a quick bite to eat to go. We arrived right before a rush and placed our order. We stood at the counter and watched as our food was prepared and bagged. Took only about 15 min. Once the rush came / their regular customers we were quickly forgotten about. New customers were coming in, ordering & getting their food.We asked multiple times to get our food. The owner & waiter kept saying it wasn’t ready.We watched as our food sat in a bag. We asked the waiter MULTIPLE times if we could get our food. She kept saying it wasn’t ready. After an HOUR she finally looked at the name on the bag and handed us our food. No apology for the wait or mess up.Our teeny tiny sandwiches were soggy and not appetizing.Would not go back again due to such poor service.
Amazing vibes. Absolutely get the labneh and herbs for an appetizer, it's so good. The smash burger was very good. I ordered a steak sandwich special. The best steak and cheese I've had in my entire life. Service and staff were also 5 star!!! We can't wait to come back.

My buddy and I met after a frigid, windy walk at Narragansett Beach. Such a warm, welcoming place! Great service and delicious food. Split the Brussel sprouts, then had the Bahn Mi. Everything is made with care and top notch ingredients. Don't sleep on the Boulevardier either!

Never disappointed!! Tried many items on the menu and they're all 5 stars!! Everything is locally sourced. Burgers, chicken sandwich's, tuna crudo, salad w/smoked salmon...Yes, even the swordfish is outta this world!! Would recommend to all!!!

The best food truck ever to be now has a home base! Delicious, fun and different then anything in wakefield. Quaint restaurant with some spunk. I tell anyone who will listen to me about this place. The service is spectacular and so friendly.
