Morons run the place. One of the pizza cooks was using a circular saw right in the middle of the kitchen on a busy Friday night. Saw dust got all over the pizzas. They weren’t doing anything about it until I spoke up. I even asked the other customers in line if they thought this was messed up and gross and they agreed. Not only that, but this is clearly an OSHA violation since the guy was using power pools without any safety equipment with no regard for his coworkers who were only inches away from where he was using the saw. I was so disgusted that they were going to serve the pizzas that had saw dust all over them. Avoid this place. They don’t care about food or workplace safety. Also - their pizzas are always burnt. Nothing like the original Frank Pepe’s.

Not the same as the original in New Haven. Clam pizza was a bit short on clams, but lots of garlic. Coal-fired, thin crisp crust (undercarriage).

We love Pepe's. Been having clam and bacon pizza for over 30 years. They had special Tonite and we had to be in area anyway so win win.

Stopped in for dinner with my wife tonight. Had a Ceasar salad to start thay was cold, crisp, fresh, with just the right amount of dressing. We also were too indecisive to decide what pizza to get for dinner, so we opted for the try 3 small pizzas. We had a classic margarita that was phenomenal. The sauce was excellent, the mozzarella was delicious and the basil was fresh. We also had a patata rustica that really was to die for. Being that the potato and bacon really absorbed that smokey taste from the oven. Unreal. Lastly the wife wanted her favorite chicken and broccoli. Which she said was one of the best shes ever had. Needless to say we have a ton of leftovers! Last time I had pizza this good was made by a pizzaiolo from Rome. We will definitely be back again.
