Overpriced, tasteless, microwaved dishes. So my 78 year old father likes this restaurant, and when I was younger we used to order sides for holiday meals which were OK back then, but recently I have had the misfortune of trying their food after I got dinner for my father and myself. The Yankee pot roast was disgusting, is was barely warm and had a terrible flavorless taste reminiscent of hospital food. The plate was piping hot so I knew the entire dish had been plated and brought to temp in a microwave. This place makes a killing ripping off senior citizens with overpriced reheated dinners that unfortunately they can't tell taste like garbage. I refuse to let my father to go back and waste 20 dollars their food when he could get something far more delicious from Dave's market and reheat it himself for around 10 bucks or less.

I did not enjoy our meal here. The staff was nice and attentive. The food was not very good. I had the eggs Benedict, which were covered in a quantity of hollandaise sauce that I have never seen before. That would’ve been fine if the sauce was good, it was not. The hollandaise sauce was very cold, which made the eggs cold as well. Finally, in addition to the temperature, the sauce did not taste good. the I ate it, but I wished I had not. We will not be returning.
I am here at Governor Francis inn and never was recognized and had to ask for waitress. Order was placed and waiting for over an hour for breakfast. Service here is the worst terrible. Do not go!!!

The portion sizes are HUGE and a great deal for the price. The interior is a little dated but it's still very cozy and welcoming. My boyfriend and I go here regularly, sometimes more than once a day!
