Placed an online order. The restaurant confirmed pickup for two combo plates about 25 min. later. Went to pick up the order, it was not ready and they were out of one of the items that I ordered and they offered me something else that I really couldn't understand what they were offering me. There are too many good restaurants in the area to have to deal with this.

Ordered steamed dumplings, crab ragoons, and the house wings. It was all ready when I got there, right on time. The house wings were my favorite. The sauce was delicious and very flavorful. The duck sauce and dumpling sauce was also very good. It is also very reasonably priced.

This place is under new management. I have been a customer of this place for over 9 years. I have come and ordered under the new management for about 4 times now. Sometimes I pick up the order, sometimes my husband does.Pluses:The owner is sociable and is eager to please--he makes suggestions based on what you like, and it may even be a dish not on the menu but something they can make with existing ingredients. The dishes have been upgraded. There are new items on the menu that were not there before. For instance, they now have Spicy Jumbo Shrimp with Chili Pepper, Spicy Scallop with Chili Pepper, Fried Squid with Chili Pepper Sauce, Mango Shrimp, and Shrimp with AsparagusMinuses: The worst steamed rice I've ever had. It was dry.The worst chicken wings (plain, no sauce) I've ever had. Dry. I had only two pieces and I can hardly chew the meat on those.I hope the owner gets to read this so they can improve the way they cook the steamed rice and flavor the wings.

We had the nice chow it had Brown lettuce in it, it was absolutely awful that the noodles were hard. I would never recommend this place. As a matter of fact, I think the Department of Health should check this place out

Orderedchicken pad Thai, crab rangoons , sweet and sour pork and boneless spareribs. The ribs were burt on the edges. The rangoons had a sour taste like the cream cheese was bad and the wrappers tasted old. The chicken in the bad Thai like it was reheated to long. The sweet and sour was cooked meat that had been battered and fried.

Not sure what happened here...decided to try Happy Garden since it was under new management and it's in our neighborhood. However, the food looks good, but tastes off. One might say rancid. I don't know why they would use meats past their prime. Maybe they're just not doing enough business that they are serving expired food. Chicken teriyaki, beef lo mein, boneless spare ribs, all were bad. Happy Valentine's Day, here's some food poisoning! No thanks, we wasted our money instead and threw it out. Guess it's a frozen pizza night.

I went 2 separate days. First time my chicken mai fun was delicious. I went back again it was dry and made totally different. I added pics one with pea pods was first time. One with peppers was not good. First meal was 5 star and second was 2 star. The staff are really nice, just need consistency on food quality

I have ordered twice from there for the same combo plate, which was the egg foo young combo. It comes with fried rice and eggroll. The first time I ordered it they were out of eggrolls (kinda strange) but I didn't mind because they substituted it with spring rolls. The second time I ordered it, it came with the eggroll. After eating the eggroll and about half the combo plate, later that evening my heart started pounding heavily and my face turned red. This lasted about an hour and happens to me if there is MSG in food. The only difference between the first time and second time was the eggroll. In fact two days later I ate the leftovers minus the eggroll and I was fine. Also the eggroll did not taste as good as other eggrolls you get at other Chinese food places in the area. Although I enjoy their egg foo young and fried rice, I have to rate this place a 3 because their menu states no MSG used.

Thought I would try this spot since it is under new management.Ordered My Fun with Shrimp and Vegetables.Very disappointing. The food was so heavily salted that I simply couldn't eat it. Actually put it in the trash. The food tasted slightly burned and had very few veggies.Would certainly not go back and would not recommend.
