She made her balloon art and brought out fried ice cream and was super kind throughout the visit. Thank you Mizu! absolutely ridiculous pricing and portions for some of there menu items. i could get a whole hibachi meal for $17 but i only wanted a side of shrimp. it came out to $12 and i was more then happy to pay expecting to have a whole order of shrimp, only to have 5 shrimp. i could’ve bought a whole wheel at the market.

Drove in on a whim since I was in the area and didn't want to drive too far. Looked very unassuming and wasn't expecting much outside of a typical Japanese atmosphere/experience. I was blown away. I had the chicken katsu bento box (had played a video game that mentioned this as a meal), and it was so good I even used the chopsticks to eat the whole thing. Yes, they do have conventional cutlery. But it was THAT GOOD. My daughter has food allergies and we explained it to the staff and they went as far as to ensure her food was made and served first before the rest of ours. No one's ever done that for us before. Went for dinner last night and was excited to try Mizu for the first time. We were greeted quickly and ordered a crab salad, a seaweed salad and a scorpion bowl. The crab salad was underwhelming and the crab tasted off. The seaweed salad was just fine. The Scorpion bowl was very strong but shallow, with skewers of fruit directly in the drink. Our waitress brought us a fish tempura to try, on the house, and it was pretty tasty— as well as a nice gesture. I ordered 3 different sushi rolls, which had no flavor and tasted as if the fish was old. My boyfriend ordered sesame chicken, which was fine, but tasted like frozen chicken bites coated in sauce. The dinner was a solid 5/10 but the service took a nosedive after the food was served. Our waitress was no where to be found and the “manager” was sitting and watching tv. We had to bang a bowl on the table to get his attention for us to pay and leave. It took a while to pay and even after all of this I still left a 20% tip. I would skip on dining here and try somewhere else for better food and service. Will not be returning even though it is close by.

I ordered delivery, and they clearly unloaded the oldest fish possible. It smelled old, the surface was oily, and the tuna was gray. I can't speak to the in-restaurant experience, but I certainly wouldn't order delivery. I try to leave only positive reviews, but this was awful.
