ORIGIN: New England Lemonade has been serving semi-frozen lemonade to Rhode Island residents and visitors for six decades. It has been owned by the same family, and is currently managed by the third generation. LOCATION: New England Lemonade has two store front locations, as well as 50 mobile units. New England Lemonade will come to you ... just schedule one of the mobile units for your event. CONCEPT: New England Lemonade specializes in refreshing fruit-flavored semi-frozen beverages that are composed of flavors that are associated with warm weather, including lemon, cherry, and watermelon. EXPERIENCE: I experienced the lemonade, which included a slice of lemon in the lemon-infused chipped ice. The price was inexpensive-- $1.75 for a small-- with several larger size options. The sweet-tart chilled treat was a perfect accompaniment for a summer beach day. The storefront location in Warwick is a short walk or drive from the town beach. A cheerful sign beckons visitors from afar to stop by... the price, refreshing beverage, and proximity to beach certainly make New England Lemonade a worthy destination! SERVICE: Service was quick, with a single employee waiting at the window for customers. TIP: New England Lemonade only accepts cash. The original lemonade is 100% natural, while other fruit flavors use a bottled syrup. The RI cultural convention is to drink frozen drinks directly from the cup (no straw). A competitor serves same beverage at higher price (Del's). Quality no different.

After a hot day having a New England Frozen Lemonade hits the spot. We spent the day at Rocky Point State Park and while traveling around we saw the cutest little lemonade stand on the side of the road. We stopped and after speaking with a young lady working the booth she suggested I get the watermelon flavored lemonade. I was not disappointed! It was so tasteful, Frozen just enough to have that crispness but able to drink as well. The flavor was wonderful didn't taste artificial at all. If you're in the area or any other locations you can't go wrong getting yourself a frozen lemonade here!

It's the ice that's so nice that you'll want it at least twice a day... Friendly people too.
