“My husband and I got a large Cuban sandwich with a side of fries and it was plenty for us to split. It cost just under $20 with two sodas. The sandwich was nice and crispy on the outside and the pork was very tender. The fries were amazing! Homemade and topped with large flaky salt. I LOVE when a place does homemade fries. To me it makes such a difference. The restaurant was very clean and the girl working was friendly. They also have a parking lot.“
“Was in need of some soup , so I got some sancocho. Price was ok for the size, wish i had more potatoes, yucca, and carrots (i only had a few pieces and i wish they added some corn, cus that wouldve made it perfect) I got mostly meat and plantains in mine and the rice on the side was really small for the size of soup but it was delicious nonetheless. My aunt owns a dominican restaurant but she was closed and la grand parada doesn't deliver so this place was hidden gem and a good back up.“
“Absolutely love the food, brings me back to my honeymoon in P.R because the food is so authentic. The customer service is the best Ive ever had!!! She makes you feel appreciated, and most of all she wants to make sure her food is of standards to the customer... no complaints from me at all, only praises.“
“This place is sooo quality, drinks always satisfy, food is on point, always hot and made fresh. Atmosphere is good for any occasion, wether it’s romantic date night or just drinks with the girls. This is always my go to spot, and I’m not even crazy about Dominican food, I just love it here. Staff is so friendly and so helpful but not overbearing.“

“Best rotisserie chicken in the state, they do catering and actually care about not wasting food. They wouldn't sell me one of their dishes until I tried it and they made sure I was going to like it. Very nice and home style atmosphere.“
“Very nice place, great customer service, food was delicious, and the other customers were even helpful. I don’t speak Spanish and they helped me learn what I wanted to order and how to say it properly. I ordered the stewed chicken with rice and black beans, and a large fresh mango juice. There was seating, lots of menu options, parking in front, and it was clean and organized. I will be returning when I’m in townVegetarian options: They have veggie options . Rice and beans , they also make burritos, which you can have meatless, they have plantains and more“
“So this place is my providence Dominican food spot. The food is authentic, delicious, fast, cheap, and plentiful. You can't go wrong here. Don't forget to grab a pastelito to snack on. The place is small but very clean. Depending on the time of day you go there might be a line out the door. I recommend not going @ 12 or 5pm. Its well worth it.“
“This is a real Dominican flavor food. It is not a fancy restaurant but you can feel that you are out of the country. Many options of dishes. Prices are really affordable and many combinations to make. The Chicharron and Tostones is five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I will be back ??♂️“
“ALMOST as good as Pito's 1 on the Southside. Don't eat Mexican... Dominican stewed beef with the carrots over seasoned rice and beans! With plenty left over for lunchtime tomorrow. Don't forget to order "chinola" jugo to drink the local Dominican word passion fruit.“
“It's so standard, it's supposed to be a small restaurant but it doesn't feel that way. The chicken is good, it seems they always run out of batata (sweet potatoes). And their system is so old fashion they have a notebook where they write everything. For special holidays is chaos because of the ordering system, a notebook usually sell more then what they have.“
“Location is nice and clean with several TV's up with various shows on. Great atmosphere very friendly staff.Parking: Restaurant is on a corner which allows plenty of street parking. The side of the building has you parking on the sidewalk.“

“Amazing food and service, the down side is that you HAVE to bring CASH. Love the food, music and vibe.I’ve ordered breakfast, lunch and catered pernil for several occasions.I wish they accept credit cards, I would come more frequently plus you get the reward points ? lol.“
“Got a crispy chicken combo; chicken was dry, but the sauce helped it out. Pernil chimi was the best. Thank you for the pastelitos! Chicken and ham+cheese, both were great but the chicken was best.Love the new permanent spot, we worried when we didn't see the truck! Best meal on Broad St!! $20 for 2 peopleThe point of sale machine didn't give us a way to tip, so bring a few extra bucks with you!“
“I'm Puerto Rican, I was in Rhode Island for a work trip and this food tastes like homemade. Simply exquisite. The service was very good and the place looks very good and clean. I recommend it. I had white rice with stewed beef tail, avocado salad and lemonade.“
“Delicious food, huge portions, great prices! Macaroni salad, black beans, stewed ribs, and the mofongo with garlic sauce are all super good! It's like being back in the Caribbean.Delicious food, huge portions, good prices! Elbow salad, black beans, stewed ribs, and mofongo with garlic are all delicious! “LOVE Merengue. Go here at least three times a week to get a great tasting hot plate at a reasonable price. The ladies behind the counter are always friendly, and the food is consistently good. Highly recommend giving it a try. (Especially the rotisserie chicken!)“
“Went there with my daughter and was unfamiliar with some of the many great choices but everyone was very helpful. The food was just delicious, tasted like you were right at a friend's house and it was prepared just for you. Very affordable prices and more than enough in a serving. Treat yourself...go to La Casita for a quick, delicious lunch or dinner - and ask for the owner's special homemade hot sauce, just fabulous!“
