The food and atmosphere are good but the cook called me an asshole because the dining room was closed and the waitress said we could order take out, so I did and he was not happy about it and made it very clear. If you want to close earlier then your closing time then don't offer take out or lock your doors

Love this cafe! The best breakfast in the state! This is one of the very few places these days that has not forgotten about customer service. You always get a "good morning" and smile when you walk in the door. The food and coffie is also excellent!

Unfortunately, I do not recommend. The restaurant is not very clean which makes it a bit uncomfortable. Also, the food wasn't very good. The restaurant is also very short staffed which seems to be the case for most restaurants.
Friendly neighborhood cafe with very reasonable prices. Even the chef checked to be sure we were happy with our special order omelettes.

The server was friendly, breakfast wasn't anything special. Ordered pancakes, bacon & coffee.. coffee wasn't fresh and the bacon was cold.. pancakes were good..guess you need to go when busy..

This is my 3rd Saturday for breakfast at Messey's, the sitting area is clean, they have a great variety of breakfast selection, the food is great, fantastic coffee, service is good, and the staff is polite, friendly, I'll be there for breakfast again.
