Meal was delayed. Cash out was also delayed. Food was excellent and worth the wait. Really enjoy having a drink in the bar by rhe fire before dinner. One of our party was disappointed because there was no soup on a cold nite. That said there were plenty of apps she could have picked instead. I always lament that we cant drive out there in daylight, but this was a special occasion and a matinee just wouldn't do.

From start to finish it was a perfect experience...Everyone was pleasant and we taken to the dining room to a table of our choice Our menu selections were all delicious Our server was lovely and made sure we always had what we needed and wanted...Was there with a friend for her birthday and our server heard us talking and when our dessert was brought to the table she saw to it a candle was glowing and a chocolate Happy Birthday plaque was applied to the tart...SO THOUGHTFUL!!!!! We then spent a few hours in the living room and the bartender was attentive and friendly...the fire was burning, we were cozy and it was a perfect way to relax in a cold evening...It really was a perfect experience...tho must say not a fan of all the dogs roaming around...

Absolutely outstanding in every way- wow!, We will definitely be back and hope to stay overnight. The Christmas decorations and the setting are a dream. The nicest hotel I've ever experienced amazing secretin RI— ssshhh don't tell anyone! LOL

The lamb was Luke warm at best , the halibut was overcooked, the only consistency at the Weekapaug is the inconsistency of the food . At these prices they really need to step up their game .

The smoked lamb belly appetizer was quite hard to cut and the flavor was lacking. The vegetable medly accompaniment was perfectly done and delicious. The Lamb chops were well prepared at medium rare and vegetable accompaniment was quite tasty. The flounder, however, was disappointingly, overdone. The veg accompaniment perfectly done. The sweet potato cake with chutney dessert was the standout of our meal with sliced dried pear and pear sorbet; obvious attention to detail, a definite for a repeat. The restraunt was fairly quiet with piped in background music, not too loud. The waitstaff in training were pleasant, while the seasoned waitstaff were professional and precise. Enjoyable service and atmosphere but the Lamb appetizer was a big miss.

There were not many servers. I guess it is the in between season before the new staff comes on after the summer staff has left. The staff that was there worked very hard to take care of their customers. It is just difficult when they have many tables.

The setting is beautiful, inside and out. The service by the waitstaff (Henson in particular) was excellent. But the food was the best, from bruchetta through the main courses and desserts. We will be back.

An exceptional dining experience at the Weekapaug Inn. Clayton, our server, on point with service and offering menu suggestions. Each of us tried the new four seasonal desserts that debuted yesterday. The finest dining experience in the northeast.
First - we love the ambiance of the entire inn. We used to dine here 20+ times a year. It was without a doubt our "secret" place as locals. In the last 12 months, The restaurant and table service has radically declined. It is horrendous in every sense of the word. The restaurant staff and management team have ZERO sense of what good service should look and feel like. Its is truly a or shame because the service used to be so good! The experience is not even close to what you'd want or expect - so we won't be back. To those snooping around, there are a lot of other local options between Westerly, Stonington/mystic where you will have a far more superior dining experience. Trust me, look around. Notice to OH leadership: Reevaluate staff accountability and remove the lackluster restaurant service staff/leadership and bring back the Forbes customer experience or the 1 stars will continue stacking.
Spectacular experience for my friend's 50th. From start to finish our server was an absolute delight. So upset I've lost the receipt, wanted to be sure he was acknowledged by name...still looking! The food was even better than I'd hoped, beyond wonderful, wish I could do it all over again tonight...definitely soon! Thank you all for a wonderful evening!!!

One of the best lobster boils I've been to. The menu was well more then I expected. All you can eat. Including wine and beer.It was very fancy. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your needs are met.

Actually, we were very disappointed. We expected more from the reputation of "The Weekapaug Inn". To put it quite simply, we felt ignored. We were not greeted, the host was dismissive and seemed incompetent. In observing other guests, this seemed to be a common feeling. Once we were seated things were better. Our server was very sweet and the food was very good....but not what I would consider "fine dining". Unfortunately, as we were celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary (which the restaurant knew & acknowledged), this was not the wonderful experience that we expected. We will not be returning and will advise others to avoid dining there.

Dinner at Weekapaug Inn last night was sublime. We started with oysters and shrimp cocktail, followed by steak and halibut, with lemon mousse for dessert. Everything was prepared to perfection, the servers were all gracious, and the dining room at Weekapaug Inn is comfortable with lovely views. What a treat!
