Sat outside in an igloo, our server initially told us the veggie burger was not available, and took our order. He came back right away, told us he checked, and the veggie burger just came in today. We changed our order and got the delicious veggie burger. Really appreciate the extra effort!

Service was very slow. Sat at the bar while people kept walking by. Finally waited on us. The next couple were waited on immediately and checked on all the time. Our First dish was fair. Tasty but Luke warm. Next dish tacos were full of shredded cabbage very small piece of fish in each, tortilla chips were inedible. I've been in the food an bar business for over 40 years this was very disappointing. Several employees congregating amongst themselves ignoring the few customers. Not busy enough for the lack of customer service.

We enjoyed a low key late fall Sunday night dinner at Windjammer. We were disappointed that several menu and drink items were not available after ordering. Can't beat the location; we timed our meal for just after sunset.

It was nice sitting on the patio, if you want beachfront dining then this place has that. I had a quesadilla and it was loaded with chicken, but it was very greasy to the point it was dripping, it was tasty though. I had a crispy chicken sandwich with tater tots, the tots were tasty though nothing special, they put two huge pieces of chicken on the sandwich, visually the sandwich was great, the taste did not equal its visuals, the chicken was bland and had little flavor, it was like eating flavorless battered chicken. The service was meh, nothing special, not very welcoming, we asked to move our seats because a speaker was blasting in our ears, our server was accommodating, in our new section the server seamed annoyed that we sat in her section, guess there isn't alot of communication at this place. I had a piña colata and it was like $11 or $12, a little pricey my eyes but it at least tasted as if it had liquor in it. Overall for 3 drinks, 2 chicken sandwich meals, and some quesadillas it was $75, pricey in my eyes for mediocre at best. Kudos to them for the Piña Colada at least. Oh and watch out for seagulls, one snuck and ate my quesadillas.

Came to visit from Kansas. Was blown away by the food, service, atmosphere, view, merchandise, and especially the owners! Plus Miss Stoli the English Bulldog was an extra bonus! Such a great place— can’t wait to visit again!!

The only thing good about this place is the view. The food has improved but unfortunately that is overshadowed by the terrible waitstaff. Due to the laziness of our server (there were only 6 other people at the bar with two servers!) our order was wrong and the food was cold! We actually had to call him over to even take our order after sitting at the bar for 13 minutes...mind you he was busy chatting it up with some other employees at the other end of the bar. Then while he was begrudgingly taking our order, other people he knew came up to the bar and he stopped waiting on us to have a conversation with them. Needless to say, when he entered our order into the system, he screwed it all up, hence is getting the wrong food. It's just a shame to have such a great location with such awful service. There's only a few places to go in our area and this one is definitely off the list!

Have been here several times, basically just for drinks. Got the nachos one time - they were the worst I've ever had. Drinks are not great.... Can you say watered down. If you go stick to a beer or something that's in a can.... Too bad, place could be awesome. Only saving grace is the view and music!

There is nothing better than sitting outside at Windjammer watching the sunset over Misquamicut Beach. I love the restaurant and the cocktails. I've also attended a party here and It was one of my favorite memories.

Great views, the food was good and so was the service. I found it reasonably priced for a bar by the water on Rhode Island to be honest.

Good place to take the family. Live music. Open space on the boardwalk and accessible shoreline for kids to run around while waiting for the meal. Just be careful as the waves/current were very powerful.Only cons worth mentioning was the urine smell that lingered by the entrance and the fact there was no lifeguard on duty both times we went.
