We have been on the search for some good pupusas in the area (sadly, not too many options in CSRA) and happened to stumble upon this restaurant in Aiken. Ordered the beans and cheese, pork and cheese, and pork/beans/cheese - all were fantastic! Tasted homemade and fresh. We always like to order yucca as a side and the yucca here is perfectly fried and crispy! Will definitely be coming back whenever we get pupusa cravings!

3 years after moving here from AZ in 2020, my wife & I found Cabanas and have fell in love with everything we have tried. Our love for Salvadorian food started in Phoenix, AZ when found a couple that ran a food truck in the area. When moved out east we felt a loss of authentic Hispanic inspired cuisine. That was until we stumbled upon Cabanas and their food, service, and atmosphere does not disappoint. We have never been disappointed with anything we have ordered. In fact I'm ordering from them tonight.

Casual dining with beautifully painted wall murals. The chicken tamale had green beans and was wrapped in banana leaf which you tasted in the mildly seasoned tamale. My hubby had the pork ribs in green sauce (We had to take some green sauce home) and I had the grilled chicken breast (huge). Both served with beans and rice, which are similar to cajun red beans - especially when you add the rice to them. Peruvian food, who knew?

Excellent attention, good food and beautiful girls...
We were wanting to try this food so we made a special trip to Aiken to eat here, we wanted Cuban Sandwiches and they are no longer on the menu; we were very disappointed in the food we ordered. My husband's fried chicken was so over fried it was more like chicken jerky than fried chicken. One piece out of three was inedible and the other two were barely edible. The pupusas were just okay, nothing special and the fried yucca was tasty but the portion was small for the price. The beans lacked flavor but were cooked properly. I wonder if the food was better before the new owners took over, otherwise I can't see how the reviews are accurate.

Amazing food and quality. Went twice in one week after having for the first time. Staff is incredibly friendly, as well!
The food was delicious and service was great. Our food did come at different times which was a little awkward to manage with a child, but the food was well worth it. The fountain drinks were a little pricey ($2.75 for lemonade).

This place so so so delicious! The 3 piece chicken is fantastic! The grilled chicken is 10 out of 10! The all day breakfast dish is really good ! They changed a few things on the menu but everything is good. The costumer service was nice as well! The new paint job is cute !
