We had just gotten into town for work... only to discover our apartment wasn't the one we'd been told. We stuck a key into a stranger's door! We were embarrassed, annoyed, and HUNGRY.My bf had noticed The Flippin' Egg on our way through town and is a large fan of breakfast food. I didn't care where we went.. I was just ready to be finished hearing a grumpy teenager talking about how wherever we went, she was going to sit in the truck.I was NOT in the best mood when I walked through those doors...But something changed about that, and I didn't even realize until we had our food in front of us.The atmosphere. The staff. Even the other customers. Everything about our experience here was softly cheerful, charming, and relaxing. To be honest, I don't remember what I had or how good it was. This happened about a month ago. What I do remember is how much better I felt from start to finish of my experience, and that I was happy to have leftovers the next day.I highly recommend this place.Note: no teenagers were harmed during this experience. ;)

Today is Wednesday at 7:40am, we went to the location in aiken and the waitress (not sure her name, white younger heavier girl) she is always there in the mornings... well, everytime we go and only see her our service sucks and she is to slow to be on her own! Today we came in an waited a few min and then she came to get our drink order, tried to give her our food order an she walked off to give menus to another party... then she gets someone's order (that came in after us). Mind u we still don't have our drinks and its been a good 5 or 10min then another group comes in and she goes to get them menus and I tell her we are ready to order... she says very rudely "I'll be with u wen I can!" We told her that we was leaving. This is getting ridiculous, store wasn't even busy wen we got there.Yall really need to get rid of this girl.. this has happened 3times before.

If I could give them a zero I would! This was the worst breakfast I've ever had at an establishment. I ordered a make it your way omelet with whole wheat toast and cheesy grits. The toast was hrs before turning moldy, had a bad and very dry stale taste to it with very little butter. Omelet had mushrooms, onions and peppers, and pepper jack cheese.....most bland flavor ever and the cheesy grits with extra sharp cheddar cheese was made with yellow sliced American cheese. Grits had no flavor and were under cooked and made me cough terribly. The only bright spot was my waitress Alex! A very beautiful woman that was an extremely attentive fast waitress. It's close to the hospital and that's why I chose to eat there, but it's definitely not worth the stop and a total waste of time and money!! If you pay by card you'll be charged extra for that luxury, lol! Terrible place!!??

Had it for the first time today, was great! Fast, friendly service, and the food was delicious. We had the lumberjack special, an omelet and the kids pancake. All very delicious! We will be back!

It was a few months ago that my family went to the Aiken location on Richland Ave. Where I ordered an omelet. I was going for my second bite of the omlet when I noticed something strange sticking out of the middle of my omlet. It was the parchment paper that's used to separate slices of cheese. F-ing disgusting. All they did was say sorry and didn't charge me for my meal but still charged me for everything else. Needless to say we will never step foot in any flipping egg ever again.

Service was slow. Had to wait for table to be cleaned off. Waited on someone to take order. One waitress was chatting with customers while our waitress was busy doing to go order. When we asked chatty waitress to help, she didn't. Finally got our waitress to take our order. Had to wait on coffee to be made before we could get a coffee refill. Food was good.

We wanted to try something new. So we stopped here for breakfast. The food came out good, the staff was very friendly. Will come back again.

The service and atmosphere was good, but the food wasn't. We tried the chicken and waffles and sadly to say, we didn't enjoy it. The meat looked like it was fake and had no taste. The waffle was so thick that it kept soaking up the syrup. I'll give them another chance, but we'll try something else on the menu.

the country fried steak is delicious, the corn beef hash was too burnt on both side, still tried eating it because i didn't want to wait to be remade, and it was just a waste. everything else was delicious. in all i'll stop by again if around the

The food (compete & hashbrowns) was very hot and delicious. I came in for brunch at a time that the restaurant was very busy (Memorial Day). My server Marco was very attentive, even though all his tables were busy. He was very cordial and hospitable, and presented himself well. A great face for the business.
