Store is disgusting. Customer brought a dog in which was definitely not a service dog. Manager said he couldnt do anything. Dog was in cart which exposes next customers food to lepto, parasites, e coli, salmonella. Yuck! Why are people so backwards about food hygeine?

Is an upscale version of Publix with higher prices as much as $1.56 for Harmless Harvest coconut water; Walmart sells it for $8.67, and Publix has it for $9.79. The store is very clean, easy access, and parking. Why do workers shun customers rather than greet them? I'll always patronize an establishment that does the little things--smile. So far, the best supermarket I have had the pleasure of shopping is at Wegman's in NJ.

After reading some of the reviews we were a bit loathe to visit this store. However we were pleasantly surprised by what we found. This store was bright, clean and well stocked with fresh fruit and vegetables. Fantastic selection of deli items and wines, will definitely visit them again!

Love the Kroger manager's specials but, Kroger in Aiken needs to clean up a little! The folks working customer service are attentive, the cashiers are nice, and Chris from produce is great but there are some improvements that could be done in the housekeeping arena.

Great selection lots of veggie and vegan options. Had everything we needed to cook a full meal. Plus the Starbucks is a great addition to the store.

Absolutely the most knowledgeable and personable man in the seafood department.

This store just continues to go downhill. Went there around 11:00 on Wednesday morning. Only two lanes open with lines down the aisles and the self-checkouts only taking cards. Some of us still like to use cash. As for having so many self-checkouts...I don't work for Kroger and don't feel I should have to check out my own groceries but almost always have to here. We'll go on down the road and pay a little more from now on.

As of 29 Jun 2022 case number 46252456. -I have been hung up on/disconnected/transferred over 30 times -I've been offed a $10 credit to my account. Then when I inquired about my refund, they tell me, we gave you $10 credit! -I have contacted live chat, a waist of time.. not their lane -I've been told 7-10 business days since 11 May 2022, its now 29 JUNE 2022. -I've been told, I'm a supervisor you'll get it 3-5 business days. -I've been told its a Boost program, they don't do refunds ...one charge was Boost, one was Kroger for $99. BOTH for the Boost membership. -I've been told I can't help you I don't have access to that access/department. -I've been told we can't put the money back to you, we can only take it away. -I've had spoiled milk derived, never complained. -I've had people show up not the same gender, race, that is listed on the app, never complained. -I've had rotten fruit. -I've order through instacart, one rep says give me the amounts and dates and I'll add it, but we get disconnected and was told by another rep sorry you can't get your points credited, even though I've already missed out on the savings because we are two different programs. -I've had deliveries from drivers who cars smelled like a cigar/cigarette factory and I never complained. -I've tipped over $99 in 2 deliveries alone. -I've heard babies cry, dogs cry, people sneezing, yelling in the background of Kroger call reps. All I WANT IS MY $99, NOT IN 7-10 business days. I received an email 28 June 2022 stating ... "On Jun 28, 2022, at 10:23 PM, [email protected] wrote: Thank you so much for reaching out. Your satisfaction is important to us and your patience is greatly appreciated. I appreciate you making us aware that you haven't received your $99.00 refund amount on your account. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. This is certainly not the experience we want for our valued customer. I am happy to check the status of your refund request and as per checking, the refund is an ongoing process with the case number Please be advised the refund request will take up to 7-10 business days, Monday to Fri only. Not included the weekend. Apparently, due to resubmitting or the refund, your refund request was processed on last June 18. Please wait another 7-10 business day to be refunded to your account." I was there today at 730 on a Tuesday night and there were no registars open and the self checkout was limited to only the one on the right and only 4 of those were opened! totally unacceptable. I'm done shopping there!

Kroger fuel fail! I shop at Kroger to be able to accumulate points to deduct for my fuel purchase. I also submit the online feedback surveys to get an extra 50 points added to my account every time I shop. Typically, 35 gallons are allowed during a fill up. Pump cut off at ~31 gallons. Informed the Kroger employee and was told that because of the gas prices, the amount of fuel allowed to purchase is being limited. Don't forget to select a nonprofit and tag it to your rewards account!

Kroger: Aiken SC. I guess it's not surprising that my journey of self discovery would lead me back to this Krogers. Back to the beginning. Back to where I first discovered love and loss. All the killing for my country, the hiding in South America, and the farming in that little village was good for, was preparing me to come to this store and face my fears. It was 15 years ago this month that I ran away. Ran away from my life. Ran away from the perpetual loss. Ran away from, I guess you could say, myself. You see 15 years ago I had it all. I was fresh out of highschool where I was the hero quarterback on the State Championship team. My best girl Lucinda and I were both going to Texas for school. My father had just got a big promotion at his job. And my mother beat that involuntary manslaughter rap. Things were going great. So great infact, we were going to have a celebration. My entire family was going to be there. My sister drove 9 hours to be at that dinner. Lucinda's parents were coming. Even Coach Johnson was going to stop by. This was a big night. But I lived for big nights. My parents had put a lot of pressure on me since I was a child. Had to be a star quarterback. Had to be a straight A student. Had to outlive the neighbor's kid. So this dinner was no big deal for a man like me. As my mother prepared the menu, I knew I had to step up, I couldn't just make some hot dogs on the grill. No, I was going to make wild mushroom risotto. I know this seemed like an ambitious feat, but I couldn't fail. I never fail. I had read about how to make risotto from a book about cooking. I was confident. Maybe too confident. Everyone was counting on me to make this. It was a lot of pressure, but pressure is what I thrived on. So 15 years ago I walked into this Kroger like I owned the place. After all, this was my town and my town bought their food from Kroger. But that night, of all nights, Kroger let me down. Kroger betrayed me. I was able to procure the heavy cream and parmesano cheese. I got three types of wild mushroom, baby bell, oyster, and woodland. I even got an artisanal chicken broth. But what I couldn't find, what Kroger did not have, was Arborio rice. I felt heartbroken. I couldn't make wild mushroom risotto without this! How could this place let me down? I had been a loyal customer for years. We did our weekly shopping here, my birthday cakes came from their bakery, my sister got pregnant from the produce manager. And now they did this to me. How could I possibly go home without rice for risotto? Everybody was counting on me. Everybody. I have let the town down. And it's all because of the Kroger. So I did the only thing I could do, I ran away and joined the Army. The hatred I felt for Kroger was going to lead me down at dark path. I figured the safest bet was to be at a place that could control that anger and hate. And I made special forces within one year. You don't need to read about the 65 confirmed kills. You don't need to hear about the therapy or the jail time afterwards. You definitely don't have to hear about Kelly, that poor girl from Oklahoma. She wasn't Lucinda, and I made sure she knew it everyday. 15 years later and I'm standing in this Kroger. The very same Kroger. They buried my father about four years ago, or so I heard. I haven't spoke to my mother since that night I left. And I ran into my sister once, in a go-go bar in New York City. I told her I was sorry for everything, tipped her well, and left. But tonight I'm here for redemption. I'm going back to my childhood home. And I'm going to make that risotto. It may not fix everything, but it's definitely a step in the right direction. This is more of a step to save my soul, and perhaps heal the family that I broke. I've come here to forgive Kroger. And maybe in turn, to forgive myself. God damn it, they're out of Arborio rice again. Kroger: Aiken SC 3/5 Stars
