Great food, but service and screaming sarcastic staff with a wait that will leave you asking, "Is it worth it." Place needs a refresh.Parking: Potholes fill drive in area. Needs general fills, repairs or resurface.Kid-friendliness: No room.Wheelchair accessibility: Spaces provided right across from entrance, but didn't see ramp for chair bound. It was dark though.
Thursday, January 18 I had a chicken meal with red beans and rice. Three or four hours later I became violently ill throwing up and diarrhea. For 24 hours very sick and even today I’m still feeling the some effects.I wasn’t planning to post something like this until after I called today to let them know about my experience. I said I suspected I got food poisoning from their food last week and all I got was a bunch of surprise, denial and defection. They said I was the only complaint there have received., which isn’t surprising since most people never call.So because of their response, I went ahead and posted my experience.

Alert ? ‼️ DO NOT EAT at this POPEYES ?on954 York St NEAiken, SC 29801My son Canceled his food tonight at about 8:00 pm because WE SAW A ROACH CRAWL ACROSS THE BOXES on THE CONTER IN FOOD WHERE THEY SIT THE FOOD UNDER LAMPS/Water ?!The Lady asked why we canceled and I said WE SAW THAT ROACH GO IN THE FOOD, please refund me? ??? We came in to order. I should’ve taken a picture of it we couldn’t believe it.

Don't expect to have your order taken for at least 20mins. I stood in line waiting for a pick up and I was ignored and when I politely asked if it was ready I was met with I'm busy gimme a min. Smh ? some people just shouldn't work in the hospitality industry.
Good opportunity to get a quick bite if you are needing something fried. Southern style for sure. So if you're new in the area, this is a good opportunity to check that out. Always good. Make sure to try every sauce. Don't worry about the cost. The nuggets are crazy. Hand breaded and fried for real and their actual real chicken. Not pressed white meat.Vegetarian options: If you are on a special diet, you know what you can eat in this place has options.Dietary restrictions: If you are allergic to peanut oil, be sure to ask if they have options that aren't involving that. Fried chicken is always cooked in peanut oil in the southeast. I'm sure they have options that are not such as the baked chicken options.Parking: Optimal options across the boardKid-friendliness: Plenty of foods that are finger friendly! Everything is spicy or non-spicy optional.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible with a ramp. Some locations have power doors.
I will not be going back to this location. We asked for extra ketchup and the lady at the register went off. She said she was not loosing her job over ketchup and she said she was disrespected because we asked questions about getting 2 ketchup. She continued to go on about it to the point where she talked about me to customers that was walking in and looking directly in my face as she told another customer that I disrespected her. The manager was in the back fixing food but she apologized and asked why we didn't ask her for the ketchup. We shouldn't have to do that and for the amount we paid for the chicken getting extra ketchup should not be an issue. The manager is nice but they have a big attitude problem and customer service is terrible.

Never received customer service like this before in my life. Workers had attitude over the speaker when ordering then gave me a order I didn’t ask for. When asked about what sides I wanted, they would say they are out instead of stating what the restaurant is out of upfront or putting a label on the menu of what they are out of…overall, poor service, and I hope they hire more quality, instead of quantity.
