I grew up hour and a half from Chicago. I've never been to a Italian restaurant that didn't serve Italian beef. They kid on the phone said no we don't serve pork. That's how dumb people are now days. The name is Italian BEEF!

DaVinci’s is one of our favorite restaurants, but unfortunately tonight was a disappointment. We checked the restaurant’s hours before heading there for dinner tonight; photo included below for proof of hours listed and time of screenshot when we were turned away. We arrived at 8:20, their neon sign was blinking “open”. Once inside the restaurant, we were told by one of the servers (long dark hair) the kitchen was closed. I worked in restaurants for many years in the past and understand it can be frustrating to have customers walk in close to closing time, but a business should not post hours if they don’t intend to honor them. It was 40 minutes before “closing”, not 5 minutes. When I suggested to the server the hours should be updated on website, she rudely replied “ok”. I also told her they should turn the “open” sign off in the event other customers pulled up. As I walked away the server yelled rudely and sarcastically “thank you”.So, I do recommend the restaurant as the food is delicious, portions are generous and most servers are friendly …. BUT call to verify their actual hours prior to going because those listed aren’t accurate.

So most of the photos are of the old restaurant. New one is next to Arnold's in the target parking area. But it is so good, worth the adventure out. Very good food, get service. It is a little smaller place, but I think that adds to the atmosphere. Highly recommend!!!!
Love this place, food, & service! Can't remember the name of the dish, but it has mussels, bay scallops, & shrimp in a spicy sauce, and if you like seafood, it is awesome! The service was great!

Found a real good place for Italian food, was here for the first time and ordered chicken cacciatore, garlic knots and french fries, the garlic knots came first and were super good and big with mozzarella cheese melting out of the middle with decent sauce to dip them in, the chicken cacciatore was real good and a very good portion the fries were a little overcooked to me but I should have mentioned to under cook them a little the way I like them. Next time I'll try the pizza and dessert my waiter was very good.

The food, service the people were great. We will be back to be sure. The only reason for the three (3) star rating for the atmosphere is because of the lighting. They use the fluorescent / daylight light bulbs. Therefore, the warm feeling of a cozier place is not present.
This place and the people who own it are AMAZING!!! I feel like they were booted out of the place they used to be unfairly for the corner bagel to take the building over . . . .but it worked out in DaVincis favor bc now they are located in the building across from Amstar in the Target parking lot.Go try them if you haven't. They are amazing ?

The food was really good. Our first visit but not our last. Service was great as well. Food came out quickly and perfectly cooked.

I've been several times. I'm sure the other foods on the menu are just as amazing, but I always get the Ham and Cheese Stromboli with extra cheese. Omgoodness, their mozzarella cheese is so buttery.If you're looking for a place for Pizzas, Stromboli's, Calzones, and such... please give them a try. You won't be disappointed!
