Worth the trip into downtown Anderson, lots of cool bistros etc. The specialty drinks were tasty, the food I'd give a 10 for freshness, variety and taste.

Great food and service! Atmosphere is pleasant but we set by the front door so was chilly. Hostess and staff pleasant and friendly. Average prices for good sushi. I would say second best place I have ever been. So excellent.

Love love this place. Jay, Ariel, and Josh are amazing!! The food and drinks are incredible. Definitely recommend the sashimi wrap, crab salad and rice crispy. Nothing we have tried has been bad.

Went to Maki again last night. We hadn't planned on it but had planned on another place for our 36th anniversary. Then we found some very bad reviews on our first choice special occasion place that made us not want to take a chance. So we went to Maki as we knew it would be perfect in every sense. As always, sushi was fresh and innovative. The sliced tenderloin with ponzu app was something new for us, and it was amazing. Our server Mary was bubbly and pleasant and efficient. So Maki is a place for really, really amazing food with the chops for a special occasion.

I came here for my birthday and had a great time. Aeryelle was such a nice server! She made us laugh and feel really welcome. The sushi was delicious and all tasted so fresh and high quality. I think some of the spicy rolls could be spicier, but that’s a personal preference and the wasabi always helps give it a kick. The AU roll was outstanding! I also got Chef RJ’s Surprise dessert and the red bean filling was to die for. Loved it and I’m so happy we have such a great sushi place in Anderson!

I took company there for dinner, the atmosphere is very nice. I ordered shrimp lettuce wraps and did not care for them because the shrimp had the tail on and veggies were hard and cold, lettuce was not crisp it was more decor lettuce wilted. The noodle dishes are only for lunch.

An absolutely fantastic restaurant, right in the heart of historic downtown Anderson. Our server (Emily) was great, and we loved everything we had for dinner. Of particular note was the lumpia (I was so happy to see this on the menu!) and the Mainstreet roll. My wife and I would highly recommend, and plan to visit again!

The staff is always PHENOMENAL!!! Little bird and the lunch crew made Friday that much better. You’ll never be disappointed here.

We had a very pleasant experience at Maki Sushi Bar. We went to Maki to celebrate Valentine's Day. We had a reservation for 2 @ 8pm. We were seated promptly when we arrived at a nice both in the corner. Megan (our server) greeted our table quickly to get our drink order and give us the daily specials. She was very attentive the whole night. We had steamed Gyoza as a starter, very good. We had 3 sushi rolls - Greenville, Clemson, and Tiger. Our favorites were the Clemson and Tiger roll. We probably will not order the Greenville again. For dessert, we had the purple and white chocolate covered strawberries - DELICIOUS! We will certainly be returning to Maki again.

Terrible experience on Valentine's Day. Manager did talk to us and took the salty chicken dish off the tab. Noise was ridiculous. Hostess refused to sit us in a less trafficked area.

Aeryle was one of the worst servers we ever had. She was saying such negative things about almost all her tables. She would talk about it as if we all couldn't hear her. Definitely won't be going back and if so then Definitely asking to not have her ever.

Great service. Overpriced teriyaki options (chicken with rice and broccoli was $22 - please forgive me for listing the incorrect price in my original post). Skip the calamari; it is over battered, overcooked and tough. The gyoza was good, the sauce was excellent. I really liked the 126 roll and its price isn't crazy ($15.)

The food is always great, but we noticed after we ordered that all the other servers around us were going over the evenings specials and our server just said what do you want. I don't know if we would have changed our orders but it would have nice to hear our options. Anyway we will come back regardless.
