We frequent this place often and we always try to sit at the bar. They ask you to ask the hostess first if it’s ok to sit at the bar which is fine I guess. Last visit we asked to sit at the two open spots in the bar, the hostess proceeded to ask everyone who was already checked in and waiting if they’d like to take those spots?? Makes no sense. We left.

Not what I expected for the price I paid. For some reason it effected my acid reflux.

My family has eaten here several times and it has never disappointed! The Fried Chicken biscuit with vegetable gravy is by far best thing on menu! Highly recommend. It has never missed it's mark!! Flavored coffee and other items are great as well!! If you want a relaxing environment tied with great food please pay them a visit!!!

Extremely disappointed with the food. I ordered biscuits and gravy. The biscuits had a terrible aftertaste like baking soda or powder or something and the gravy was not only cold but inedible. Me and my husband both felt ill for several hours after eating here. He had corned beef hash and eggs, biscuits and gravy too. He said his coffee was too weak. We stopped eating our food or we could have been sicker. The bill with tip was $37.00. We won't be going back.

You can't go wrong with their shirmp & regular Eggs Bennedict! The OJ/Grapefruit chaser as fizzy and we didn't ask for anything novel. Daughter ordered the Crabcakes, but they were out, and so she got the Salmon and loved it. Coming back for seconds again and again. Really a fabulous find in Old Town Anderson.Quaint.

A much-needed breakfast joint. Most of the ingredients they said are local farms, etc. Most of the things I've tried are very well done. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because sometimes things are over seasoned when it comes to salt. Mr. Rivers is a great place to try especially since it's competition the Eggs Up Grill has gotten more expensive,, they have change the recipes, using cheaper ingredients or just plain removed some of the customers favorites. My money will be going to Mr. Rivers in the future.

Had a great experience! Food was incredible! Most of all, we were impressed by Santana. The owners have a great employee in her. She treated the place like her own and had alot of pride in the restaurant. You don't see that much anymore. We will be back!

The food is always amazing, but also the service is good! We came in 30 minutes before close and they were super kind about it and had no problems!

This restaurant has that quaint small town American feel, serving traditional Southern dishes with a twist. We ordered fried green tomatoes with a bacon jam topping, strawberry pancakes with fresh sliced strawberries cooked right in, a side of their homemade corned beef hash, and an apple cider mimosa. I’m use to eating the mushy corned beef hash so there was a little shock when chipped corn beef came out served with petite cut potatoes, peppers and onions, but the flavor was amazing. My son devoured the strawberry pancakes, saying the addition of fresh cut strawberries within made them the best he’d ever had. The fried green tomatoes were honestly my favorite part. I eat these every time a restaurant serves them and hands down, these are the best I’ve ever had. The home breading was super crunchy. They were not soggy and the tomatoes were just firm enough. However, it was the bacon bbq jelly that really made them. Simply devine. The mimosa was crisp and tart with the addition of cinnamon. Our server was superb. Overall an amazing experience and i hate we don’t have a restaurant like this where I currently live.
