The Sweetery not only has the best cakes and cookies in the upstate, they also have delicious sandwiches available at lunch. Service is quick, but seating is limited.Kid-friendliness: Kids are always welcome and they have a kid friendly menu.

The professionalism from the manager which is the owners son, is definitely non existent. I ordered an eggless cake for my grandson’s birthday party, which is 2 and has an egg allergy, yet the cake was still made with egg. When I addressed the issue the manager immediately got an attitude with me, stated I lied and never requested an eggless cake knowing my grandson has an egg allergy. In what world does that make sense. He immediately snatched the cake from the counter and offered to give me my deposit back. That was unacceptable bc the party was the same day. The cake was $120. I still paid for it even though my grand baby couldn’t eat the cake. I had to go to Greenville to get a personal cake made for him last min which was an additional $25. I only used this bakery this year bc I didn’t have a problem last year. I will never use them again. The manager was so focused on the bakery bc he had other customers he didn’t show a bit of compassion or empathy. I could’ve took the cake, fed it to my grand baby and ended up in the hospital or worse. Bad customer service and doesn’t seem to care about customers only money! To top it off the cake was leaning. It was not cute. A four layer cake that was leaning. I will never use them again.

my wife and I came in today to get a cheesecake for her birthday. No one said hello instead one lady that works there walked up and said do y'all know what y'all want and I said well give us just a second we're looking at the cakes and cheesecakes well, I thought y'all would already know what y'all want by now is what the lady said back, my wife shook her head said just get the cheesecake and let's leave. I really like their cakes and cheesecakes but the service is horrible and they just try to rush you out. Very disappointed will not be coming back and would not recommend my wife asked me about a cake in there was it a banana split cake and the lady said over us don't you know what the layers are my wife said no just another example of terrible customer service

This bakery has everything you need-cakes, pies, cookies, homemade pimento cheese, all the favorites your mom used to make! You can go in and eat soup, salad, sandwiches. They are friendly. I never go to Anderson without going to The Sweetery!

This is a delicious bakery/mini deli sandwich shop. People are amazing and the good is not only delicious, but just right. And prices are extremely affordable.Plus you get a free slice of cake with your meal!!! What more can you want?Too bad they have limited hours.But I guess this is what makes it so special.Absolutely love it!!!Parking: Plenty of parking spots and handicapped parking.

I’ve been coming hear for years for lunch. My go to is the grilled chicken pasta salad. It’s so delicious and perfect for a quick lunch. It comes with cheese, bacon, grilled chicken, pasta salad that is well dressed, and crackers. All on a bed of lettuce.

If you've ever wondered what heaven is like, or at least the dining part of it.., just go to the Sweetery and you'll find out ! From the heavenly aromas as soon as you open the door, to the rows and rows of deliciousness that you see, to the variety of yummy things to choose from ( decisions decisions) and the friendly service, where they've always got a smile.. This is a "MUST TRY" if you've not been !!! Btw- The Italian creme cake is to die for ! I love this place ?
