Alvin Ords is a great local sandwich shop. Their sandwiches (including the bread) are made fresh in house. Every sandwich is delicious! The Salvation is their house sandwich and it is excellent. They have jalapeno bacon which is a great add on to any sandwich. They have daily specials. The service and staff are friendly and helpful and make everything to order. Plus super fun eclectic seating with different chairs at every table. Highly recommend!

First time getting a sandwich from this shop, and I will make it a regular trip from Hilton head Island for lunch! Had the club sandwich on a medium roll that they make in house and it was fantastic. Girl at the counter was incredibly friendly and very helpful in picking out a sandwich. Can’t wait to come back.

I was skeptical at first because it looks very unassuming but the sandwiches are delicious. The bread is fresh and light and there are several options including vegetarian and kids selections. We will definitely be visiting again before leaving Bluffton.Vegetarian options: While there aren’t a ton of veggie options there are a few. Plus the fact that you can customize your sandwich gives more options for add’l veggies.Kid-friendliness: The grilled cheese has real cheese versus processed American cheese which is a win in my book!

If you've ever eaten in a Schlotsky's deli, you've experienced a similar style of bread used for their sandwiches.I rarely get anything other than a French Dip, potato salad, and a drink, but friends and family often order the Salvation. If you are really hungry or want to share a sandwich, order a large. I typically order a medium, and it is just right.The staff is always friendly and greet you with a smile. You can call in and order ahead for carry-out or dine in. Sometimes, the line is long, but I feel like the food is worth the wait.Parking: The restaurant shares parking with several other small businesses in a strip, so during the lunch hour, it may be a little challenging to find a parking spot. Don't let that stop you from eating here. It's worth it!
