Top notch as always. This is one of the best dining experiences in the entire Hilton Head/Bluffton area. The menu is relatively limited in terms of number of selections, but the nightly specials are usually pretty compelling and in fact all four of our party got specials on the evening (the women got the fish, the men got the veal tomahawks.) Everything was terrific, and the service was on point as well. It's a little too spendy to be an every-week restaurant (for most of us at least), but it's always a treat and we will be back again in the not-too-distant future.

This is not an inexpensive place to eat. However, the decor, quality of the food, quality of the servers and staff is second to none. This is the ONLY restaurant in the state of South Carolina to make it into the top 100 best restaurants in the United States in a recent article. maybe Travel and Leisure? We go a few times a year. I always always get the grilled artichoke appetizer. I don't eat meat and don't like salmon so am thrilled to share the dover sole with a dining partner. if that doesn't work out, there are other yummy appetizers and sides to keep me happy.

We went at 5pm when it opens. The restaurant was only moderately busy and the noise level was fine. They gave us a comfortable booth. Everything about the evening meal was excellent!

Our server Tonya is amazing. We always hope we get her when we go. Although ask of the other servers are great. She is exceptional. Had the red fish special. It was outstanding. The baked oysters are the best. My husband had the veal bolonese and it was excellent. Highly recommended.

Overall, I enjoyed our experience. Unfortunately, my ribeye, my sons wagyu and husbands elk were over cooked. If it didn't have such great flavor it would've been a bad experience. For the very high prices this should not happen especially all at one table. We did not complain as I my son would have been appalled and it's so expensive you almost feel guilty sending it back... The place is very cool. I enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was exceptional.

This was our first time at the Bluffton Room and we went to celebrate our anniversary. We had a wonderful experience with our server Dayna who made our evening very special. We will be sure to come back to the Bluffton Room for other celebrations and to enjoy the food!

We have been here many times but had a disappointing meal on this occasion. Requested a booth months ago but got a small table by the bar, my food was okay but my husband did not care for his. All in all, too expensive for the selection and quality of the food preparation.

It is always a treat to dine at The Bluffton Room. The team delivers first class service in a truly fine dining setting. The food is consistently excellent...as we like to say, this isn't a great restaurant for Bluffton, this is a great restaurant, period. On this visit we were delighted to be taken care of for the first time by Dana...we hope that happens again soon!

Full disclosure, we have been to the Bluffton Room many times since we first moved here in 2021 (it was recommended to us immediately). The food is always perfectly prepared thanks to Chef Jeff Congdon and his team. The service as on point as you would find at The French Laundry, LeBernadin, Alinea, or any place similar Tonja Hughes, Tatiana, Tonya, Dana et al are simply wonderful. Cory Hughes and Jessica are magicians when it comes to cocktails. The wine selection is also wonderful. If you've not been you really are missing out, if you have you know already...

This is an upscale restaurant. The menu had a nice selection of items. When the food came, we both ordered a filet mignon, it was absolutely outstanding. The bread/butter was wonderful, warm and tasty. The meat was cooked to perfection, the best filet I ever had! The meal came with fresh green beans and a potato. The fingerling taters were good, but too few and the horseraddish whipped potatoes were cooked to perfection, warm and not overly spicy. We had a chocolate pie for dessert that was tasty and very good. The chocholate martini was one of the better ones we have ever had and the wine was also very good. Ambiance was nice with real candles on each table but was spoiled by the loud noise from the bar area adjacent to the eating area. The service was outstanding and Tyanah made the meal very nice with her friendly professionial down to earth approach. She and others were very attentive and timely accomplished items without us having to ask. Our every need seemed to be met. We look forward to returning!

Outstanding Valentines dinner out. The one restaurant in Bluffton that never disappoints. Our servicer, Tyanah, is the best. My wife never makes it past her seaford portion of her specials of the night. The atmosphere is exceptional and certainly recommended for any romantic evening out. We've already booked reservations for when our family comes down in a few weeks.

This was my wife's and my first time to The Bluffton Room although it certainly will not be our last. Everything from food to service to ambiance was outstanding. Our server, Dana, was extremely outgoing, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu. She took us on a detailed tour of the menu since we were first timers and gave us her excellent recommendations. We started out with the grilled caesar salad and she crab soup. We think of ourselves as she crab soup aficionados and this was one of the best versions we have had in the low country. The soup had an abundance of crab and had a luxurious and smooth consistency. The grilled caesar was light and a perfect start. Next we shared a porterhouse for 2. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and sliced beautifully with some sliced mushrooms, pearl onions and a grilled tomato for flavor and color. The steak was seasoned perfectly with salt and pepper and was absolutely delicious. The steak also was accompanied by 2 sides and we chose mushrooms and brussel sprouts. The mushrooms were rich and earthy and accented the porterhouse perfectly and the brussel sprouts were a lovely green vegetable to go along with the porterhouse. They were sautéed perfectly and had the perfect amount of chew. For dessert, we had cappuccinos and shared the espresso creme brûlée. My wife said the brûlée was one of her all time favorite desserts and I agree it was sensational. The cappuccino was also fabulous. It was a lovely dinner and the pacing was perfect and relaxing. Dana led a service team that was outstanding and the restaurant is warm and charming with a beautiful bar and long window that makes for great people watching. A well deserved 5 stars. Look forward to being back soon.

Our first visit to The Bluffton Room was not disappointing. Prompt seating, timely service and impeccably prepared courses throughout the experience. Attentive staff with a no-rush approach.

Wonderful food and wonderful service. We ordered tomato soup with goat cheese, cesaer salad and pasta with veal. The food was perfect and high quality. Brownie dessert was warm and rich, wish it was a little bigger portion though. Only thing is how the restaurant is laid out. The room is small and the bar was packed with around 17 seats. The menu for the bar area is different and less expensive so I could see the reason why people started waiting in line 45 minutes before the restaurant opened. The bar was packed but the tables were not. The noise level was way too much for us to consider this a quiet romantic place to eat. The people at the bar were loud as is expected. The restaurant part was minimized by the ambience and it was really all due to the bar being so close. One of the owners, Tonja, was our waitress and she was an absolute delight. Everything was perfect except the noise. We view ambience almost as important as the food and unfortunately that was enough for us to not return. I so wish it had less noise because we could tell the owners take great pride in their restaurant.
