We have been to this region many times. We always come to the Blutton Seafood House at least once. There's a wide selection of choices on the menu from fish to seafood, appetizers, sides, oysters, and killer hush puppies. Steamed, broiled, baked, fried, you pick. Corvina is my favorite fish, but they also carry fresh catch of the day. Our first encounter was through Bluffton Oyster Company fish monger outlet. They suggested we try the restaurant and it's a favorite of ours. Shrimp, cobra, oysters, corvina, Reds, and more. Check the chalkboard on the way in for choices of fresh caught.

Fried clam strips overcooked and greasy. Hushpuppies, no corn flavor or sweetness. The shrimp boat reuben was excellent. Shrimp salad po boy was good.Overall, I wish we had not ordered apps and saved the money.

Very consistent, great food, good price, Hard working employees, If you like oysters can never go wrong with the bucket of fresh local oysters. Have had almost everything thing on menu and outstanding eveytime. Gets busy at times. Enjoy.

Went on a Friday night about 615. Seemed full but no wait. Was slow getting to take our order due to the kitchen being “backed up”. Portion size was on the small side. Got a shrimp basket with fries and a baked potato for my sides. Probably ten shrimp ( moderate sized) and the fries were over cooked to the point they were not really edible. Left the full side of fries and the waitress didn’t even ask if there was a problem with them. Refilled drinks well and she crab soup was good. Wasn’t the quality I was expecting with a 4.3 star rating. Wasn’t horrible but I wouldn’t rush to go back.
I was told this is a must visit when you're in Bluffton. It definitely did not disappoint. I was craving crab legs so I decided to get the snow crab legs. They were excellent! I also had fried okra and mac and cheese And my sides did not disappoint. My waitress was extremely friendly and checked on me constantly to make sure everything was good. I got there early so I got a good table but it definitely filled up as I was sitting there eating so I would suggest maybe making reservations depending on the time that you go. I wish I had more time in town to have tried their oysters which I have heard incredible things about but I'll have to do that next time!

We had it on our list and stopped for lunch- fish was fresh and tasty and my baked potato was huge and delicious. The surprise was the cucumber tomato salad which was almost pickled and very good. You can order it as a side. Portions are generous. We shared the key lime pie which had a very nice crust.
