Our first visit as we live full time on HHI. Your Monday night staff needs a raise. They were spread so thin, but the stress never showed. If the restaurant was busier I suspect my review would be very different. It’s not possible for 1 bartender to manage ALL tables and the bar. Food and engagement from both the chef and bartender was great while sitting at the bar.

Mediocre food and really poor service. We got a ceviche, which was okay, but the wontons were very stale (raising questions about the freshness of the other food). The “big salad” was just a bunch of greens and parmesan plated in such a way that made me suspicious that I was looking at the results of a bagged salad poured out on a plate. The tuna burger was fine. Meanwhile, the service was slow, with an attitude. Poor experience all around.

This place rocks. Bartenders are fantastic and every kind. Chef is a great guy and is incredibly talented. Everything here is good. The food, the drinks, the people. Go here. Support local. This may be the best restaurant around HH.

This place was really fantastic. Since we are restaurant owners here in Beaufort county, it is quite rare to get a Friday night off but we did and luckily wound up at Crudo in Old Town Bluffton.Very cute and intimate bistro-style restaurant with old world charm. The staff was incredible. We sat at the bar and spoke with Scott (who happens to be an incredible musician) and Johnathan, a sophisticated world-traveller and all around great person. They crafted beautiful towers, sushi rolls and crudos right in front of us. Jackson looked and acted the part of a real deal manager/bartender and made me an awesome old fashioned.Food and pace were expertly curated and managed by Chef Carl Shuman and Will. I can promise you the boar pappardelle was worth the trip on its own and the best plate of pasta I have had in as long as I can remember.Great value, cool spot and definitely a must try.

The food was very good but small portions and heavy $$. Service was very good. Host advised us when we arrived for our 5:30 reservation that we had to be finished by 7:30 because he had another reservation then. In poor taste. Interesting, when we left around 7:30 there were numerous empty tables! And this was on Valentine Day night! I can understand why.....

First time we can it wasn't good. We tried it again last night, just to give it another shot, and just as terrible. The bahn mi was horrible and I can't believe the chef serves this. No seasoning, and the pork is basically raw,the bread is wrong, the toppings are off, and it's served with a lemony, middle eastern tasting farro. Just gross. We also tried prime rib and the short ribs. I've never had a short rib dish where it's thin small slices of beef like a steak and it was served with a side of raw broccoli. And the prime wmrib is not even worth mentioning. Thank god for the drinks because unfortunately there's no saving grace for this place.

Drinks good ,as was the service. Food was way overpriced. Over $3.5 on oyster is crazy. Even endamame was more than I have ever seen on a menu. The poke was over sauced. The crudo was excellent. Prices would be ok if I was a thousand miles from the ocean.

Mahi taco was Mahi dry. Prime rib sandwich average. Expresso martini. was 3 ounces a disgrace. Never in my life have I had such a miniscule martinti. Disgusting. Gentleman sitting at bar had his shoes off while I am eatting had to see those disgusting feet. Waitress told manager and he did nothing. This was on a Saturday night. Manager did nothing. I thought this was suppose to be a classy place. Totally digusting and way below average. Thanks for the 3 oz teacup martini. At least Jenna our waitress was good.

Don't miss this place! Some of the best sushi I've ever had! We tried many dishes and all were excellent! Shout out to Jordan the bartender who was so great and made amazing cocktails. Took the Deadbeet to the next level by muddling in some fresh jalapeño for me! Don't miss the lobster roll - all knuckle and claw meat!

Great ambiance and service. Most of the food was delicious (especially the bao bun and daily crudo). Maybe it was just an off night, but the sushi (bluffton roll and tuna nigiri) was very underwhelming. We would definitely eat here again and just probably not order sushi next time. Overall, a very solid experience.

We have been here many times and very enjoyable place with wonderful staff. However the food tonight was not up to par. The crudo was cut by an amateur, ragged sashimi, really? The oysters Rockefeller were not even hot with chunks of meat on top, not tasty or great to look at. Beef tartare was not tartare at all, we enjoyed this dish previously. The boar and Bluffton roll were good. The timing was way off as well, staff were waiting around obviously for food. Need to get the food back together! We love this place but things need to change quickly.

STILL HUNGRYThis was not a good lunch experience. My friend and I found many menu items that looked appealing. We asked the waiter questions about several small plates and I specifically asked if an item was enough to eat for lunch. When he explained the crudo of the day ($25) it sounded delicious. We both ordered it but were shocked when it arrived. It was a tiny amount of yummy tuna slices, no where near enough for a meal, even lunch. We asked for some bread to try to stretch-out the little bit of tuna. It was $7 for a small serving of naan, also yummy but not enough. The waiter should have explained that the crudo was NOT a meal..To make matters worse my friend ordered tonic to drink. She asked the waiter why it tasted strange. He admitted to using a syrup in club soda and said they were planning on discontinuing it when their supply ran out since others had complained also. Any good restaurant would have taken it off the bill under the circumstances but we were charged $4!So we left hungry and paid a total of $68 before tip, for a very light snack.Another note: If you are going to serve tuna that costs your customers about $200 per pound, please upgrade your chopsticks and maybe even your toilet paper!
