Love this place. First place I think of for out of town guests. The chicken and waffles are delicious and the portions- we'll expect to take home leftovers!

We have breakfast at Cahill's every time we're in town. It's hearty, delicious, heavy Low Country food. I had the chicken and waffles and they were both perfectly cooked. The service is always quick and friendly. Everything on the menu is terrific. The only problem IS the menu -- there are so many delicious items that it's in a really small font. Worse, it's typed in all caps, which makes it even harder to read. But it's absolutely worth a stop, any time.

Food was delicious! Great service! Large portion. Nice clean friendly farm style restaurant. Will definitely come back again next time I’m in the area. Has a store in the front that sells fresh vegetables from their own farm.

This was recommended to us if we wanted southern home cooking. We were on our way to savannah airport and stopped here for lunch (one of us had breakfast). The waffles in the chicken and waffles dish were claimed to best waffles ever had. Other meals were enjoyed (pimento cheeseburger, fried chicken sandwich, eggs/sausage/grits/biscuit &gravy). Would definitely stop in again when in area.

Kinda felt like down on the farm. Lots of food served, price fair. Store - over priced stuff. Fried chicken - delicious, Sweet Potato Souffle- delicious, Collards - good but not anything special, Mac n cheese - pretty good. Looked like it had been in business since grandpa started it - actually only 11 years old.

I have been there many many times and the service and quality is slipping (a lot). Staff is getting ruder and the food is served cold after waiting an excessively long time. They are very crowded and probably don’t care about a bad review, but they should not rest on their laurels. Customers will stop returning, there are way better options.

Paola was amazing! I’ve developed a gluten allergy and she guided me thru the menu with ease and checked on me thru-out my meal. I wouldn’t have had it an other way. We started out with another server that was non-compliant and didn’t want to answer questions and seemed irritated that she had to deal with the questions. I think you have a wonderful gem with Paola and hopefully she is able to move up into a better position with you guys. She deserves it. Her customer service skills are amazing!

I can’t even count how many times we have been to Cahills. Locals. Every time we go the staff seems to get a little more cold and rude. This last time was probably the final straw, and it’s a shame because the food and atmosphere is nice. We really miss seeing Mrs Cahills friendly smile. The woman behind the counter seems annoyed to be there, and the young lady at hostess stand was so rude to us. We were a larger party of 7 and waited an hour to eat because she was waiting on the 1 large table. My husband went up to her and asked why they couldn’t have moved 2 tables together that they just sat people at. He also had mentioned that Mrs Cahill had done that numerous times for us. She became hostile and told us if we didn’t like it we could leave. Honestly, why!? I don’t understand why we got that response. As someone who frequents this establishment. It’s a real darn shame!

We stopped in for lunch because we heard the fried chicken was great and it did not disappoint! I had the spicy fried chicken sandwich with fries and it was phenomenal. The fries were great too, perfectly crispy. My husband had fried chicken and three sides: Mac and cheese, butter beans and coleslaw. All were great. Service was good, atmosphere fun and relaxed. If you’re in the area and craving fried chicken, this is the place to go.
This seems to be a popular place. It was very busy and the store area was crowded with people waiting. The hostess, who was clearly not happy with her job, barely stopped short of being hostile to the patrons. We ordered food and waited. 50 minutes after being seated, the tables that arrived after us started receiving their food. We asked about it and were lectured by the waitress that everyone was working hard and that we just need to be patient. We waited another 10 minutes but just finally left. In general, nice staff would have made the experience better. I'm sure this place is decent if you want to deal with angry employees but we will never go back

Their chicken is as good as advertised. Our table tried grilled fried and tenders and they were all excellent. Sweet potato soufflé might as well be dessert it is so sweet de delicious with brown sugar pecans on top. Green beans are tasty and the side salad was Rea nice sized.

Great menu,locally grown veggies,large portions,great value, friendly as can be. Love this place, always busy with locals and visitors. Had the chicken fried chicken with sausage gravy and couldn't it it all. You will be happy if you go here
