Food was a little pricy for the amount you get but that's most places these days. My soup was great just wish it had more in it. Was mostly broth but tasty. Yummy drink and pad Thai was awesome!

First, the waitress said “I’ll give you more time to decide” then walked away after I had asked a question about the menu. She then disagreed with what I had decided to order and attempted to get me to choose something else. She spoke in such poor English that I didn’t have a clue what she was saying. If one is going to live and work in the USA, please learn English.

Just had dinner here tonight. Had cashew stir fry, green curry & dumplings & fried rice. Great experience! Food was fresh & flavorful. Artful presentation. Service amazing. Chatted with the owner & her niece who served us. Highly recommend!!
We were on vacation and looking forward to hot Soup on a cold night. We were seated quickly, but had to wait an extended time for service. A gentleman was bussing tables & came over to help us. We ended up leaving because he informed us that the Soups contained MSG. So disappointing!

Pad Thai had something unusually tasting, fair at best.Soft Shell Crab - not fresh crab and did not taste good at all.Service was ok. Table right by kitchen sink which was busy with a lot of take out; and hall to bathrooms which was old and gross and storage for paper goods.Overall experience was not good and need to find better Thai food around here!

Had a disappointing lunch experience here today. I ordered Thai Basil Chicken and received beef instead. She offered to change it and, to be nice and prevent an issue for the waitress, I accepted the beef instead. It was not enjoyable. The beef was tough and not hot, and, not as spicy as I had requested, However, I did get extra basil as I requested. The extra basil, with no mention of extra charge at the time of order, was 3 leaves of basil At checkout, I was then told there was a $2 up charge for that extra basil. in summary , the food is very average Thai cuisine. I had been coming here for about a year, rationalizing that it was OK for an area that has almost NO decent Asian restaurants to choose from . However, with the added features of poor customer service , a bad attitude, and paying $ 2 for 3 1/2 inch basil leaves, I think it's time to find a better Thai alternative. If you want a satisfying $40 Thai lunch experience, you might want to keep looking.

Every time I have gone to Ruan Thai is no different then my very first visit. The Food is always great and the atmosphere is always very warm and welcoming.
