Lovely outside dining area. She crab soup and fried shrimp were very good. The oysters Rockefeller were skimpy very small oysters.

We had the raw oysters, po’boy sandwiches, collard greens, cheese grits and all was delicious. Beautiful walk around Bluffton and a great lunch.

Toomers great restaurant. Stopped for lunch-3 of us. It was definitely a wonderful stop for seafood. We had a great flounder sandwich as well as a fried oyster basket. The sides of sweet potato fries and coleslaw made the meal. Off season for May River oysters--replacement were James River oysters -- great choice! Service was great & friendly & quick. Great spot for lunch with a number of menu choices. Super for seafood. Prices are reasonable. Worthwhile for lunch!!!! GO:)

Food was okay. Fish was fresh, but my wife's swordfish was quite thin ... not a "steak" like swordfish is normally sliced. It was also a bit over seasoned. But her steamed broccoli was excellent. My whole (fried) flounder was quite good. Perhaps a bit overcooked, but tasty. My sides were also good. Non-seafood eating daughter had a burger and fries and said it was okay. Son had the low country boil and it was the winner-dinner. Shrimp was superb! But I think the corn on the cob was the frozen kind, not fresh. But he devoured it and his mother tried the shrimp and raved about it. Sadly, they were out of the she-crab soup my wife ordered, but I had a cup of gumbo that was decent. Not great, but decent. Our server was excellent! Very attentive and professional.

Great seafood restaurant off the beaten path. Family atmosphere with fresh seafood cooked how you want it. We come to Hilton Head 1 time a year and this was our first time, but it won't be our last!

We ordered a two item selection. Our server changed it to the more expensive 3 item. We had selected scallops and oysters Our appetizer was calamari..the rings were smaller than a wedding band and we returned, uneaten, that dish. The main dish contained 3, yes THREE scallops , and about six shrimp. What was represented as oysters were so small that they were shorter than the end of your pinky. At this point we were so disgusted that I didn’t even bother to we ate what was there paid the bill and will never return

We always have great food here. The fish is cooked perfectly, not over-seasoned and is fresh. Unfortunately, on more than one occasion, they have run out of baked potatoes as a side option. It's not like we've been there later in the evening either. Other than that, everything is good and the staff is great too.

This was recommended to us by a young man fishing at the May River dock near the church off of Calhoun street. The food was fantastic, came out very fast, oysters weee incredible and everything was incredibly fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant that was also a very good value for the food. Enjoy it!

When you walk in you choose your own table that's available. There service was great and the food was good. I hoped the half dozen oysters on the half shell would be briny, unfortunately they were more on the water taste side from being iced. The She Crab soup was delicious, and my daughter said the snow crab legs were some of the best she's had in a long time. I had a shrimp basket with french fries. All were cooked to perfection. The oysters were the only thing holding them to a 4 star rating on the food. The oysters and crab legs are listed as market price. Please give them a try.Parking: The parking around lunchtime can be hard to find. We parked down the block and walked to the restaurant.

Our food was amazing, genuinely spectacular but the service left something to be desired. Our waitress, and I will not call out names, charged us for two adult shrimp basket meals. When one of the meals was for my 9 year old brother. When we asked about this her response was "oh well I did not hear you say a kids meal."This is angering because we should not have to state that the 9 year old kid is getting a kids meal. However, the waitress in question was great at everything else and while this is a negative experience. I still recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good seafood :)

The service was lacking but the food was excellent!! We had a shucking good time!! Food - We went got the oyster bucket, so we only ordered the she crab soup, as oysters are not very filling. The soup was fantastic!! And the oysters were fun to shuck!!Service - the hostess told us that we could pick any table on the patio. 3 different staff members came out to the patio for other reasons but did not acknowledge us. I finally went inside to ask if we need to order inside...We were there later in the evening, and the bartender who brought out our bucket of oysters was very friendly and showed us how to shuck.
