My partner and I went to Camden to spend the weekend looking for antiques and eating all the things. El Jimador had a million dollar location right next to the Hampton Inn where we were staying. We felt like having lots and of drinks so we wanted something walkable. Like I mentioned we were really here for drinks which we found plenty of at the pristine white bar bathed purple light. Even though the place is glass encased it's easily to lose track of time at the bar because the glass is tinted and the purple makes it harder to notice what time of day it is. The drinks were on point. We did: 1. The Mezcal Flight. Great if you Love Mezcal. 2. The silver margaritas flight. Peach, mango, strawberry and blue raspberry margaritas 3. The monster house margarita. This was my favorite drink. 4. The monster blood orange margarita. It was really good but we didn't finish it because we had so many other drinks. My partner ordered the fried seafood platter and it was enormous and tasty. The salsa and queso were on point with fresh chips. We had a great time here.

This place is top notch and I don't say this very often. First time ever and definitely won't be the last, we so needed this in the Camden/Lugoff area. ?Food ✅️Cleanliness ✅️Staff ✅️✅️

We stopped here on our drive along I-20 towards Florence, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and authenticity of the Mexican food. Very unique and festive decor too. I love how they bring chips and salsa to the table right off the bat. The quesadilla with rice and beans was delicious. They also have “gringo” food, which comes in handy for picky eaters (our son went with the chicken tenders and fries). They were out of horchata but had other Mexican drinks. Very good service and a pleasant experience overall.

Usually when I go to a place this nice the food is mediocre. I normally prefer the small restaurants with the tattered seats. For some reason they have the best food I’ve found. So this place seemed like it was going to be mediocre. As soon as they brought out the salsa I knew it was going to be decent. The waitress, I can’t remember her name she had glasses and was a military kid, was probably wondering why I was so enamored with the salsa lol. I usually get served tomato purée in Florence. So that was a good start. I ordered the Birria Tacos and have been the best I’ve tried so far. I wish it was closer so I could go more often.

I'm from the south west and was disappointed with my visit at this restaurant. I ordered the mango fish meal and received an over cooked tomato salsa fish with sad undercooked and under cleaned broccoli, cauliflower, carrot medley. The fish was extremely dry to the point it was difficult to swallow. My friend enjoyed her meal though which was a fajita mixed protein dish. In terms of service, my waitress could not remember the specials, did not notify me when the kitchen ran out of items for my dish- and just arbitrarily told them to prepare a different dish without letting me know. And even though she offered me a discount for the dish she delivered that was not what I wanted, it was a military discount- which I am actually military- so this was more of a let down, as this was not an advertised offer in general, and I was never given the option of choosing what I wanted. As for the ambiance- it's as bright as a super Walmart inside, the footage of a high speed nonstop chase was show. The entire time we were in there, and it felt like I was more in a sports bar as opposed to being in an actual restaurant.

Food is very flavorful and my tastebuds have been awakened. They are open for lunch too. Sweet tea is refreshing, salsa is not spicy either.Mario our waiter is very professional and attentive.Parking: Restaurant is 5 mins from I-20.
The food was very good, as others mentioned the menu is very large. The service is what really stood out. Each team member was checking in often, very attentive, and customer service oriented.

We showed up with about 20 people for a very unexpected last minute family dinner and to sum it up everyone and everything was absolutely amazing!!! They set us up a table so fast. The food and the service were top notch. This was the first time we had been but it won’t be the last. I can tell you that. I only write reviews for people and places that deserve it so I hope that means something. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
