For Rusty Anchor: Much better lakeside experience than 'the other place' a few coves over. Still has a nice view, albeit not as spectacular, but this is more than balanced by the quality of the food. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The service was exemplary, and our server Erin was on her first day at the job--fantastic and attentive. The manager checked in. Our only complaints would be that the menu is limited, as are the hours. We would like to see a larger range of offerings as well as more weekday lunch availability. However, we are thrilled that they are sometimes open for lunch on Fridays as well as weekends (call to be sure, usually in high season).

I'm only giving 4 stars because they didn't have Cognac The servers were all pleasant and prompt. The taco bar was tasty, and the fried shrimp were delicious!!.

Great place. Only thing is when lots of boaters want to come here it can be hard to find/get a spot but beyond that it’s a great place. Both bars are always crowded on a Saturday because people really like this place.

Luv Catfish Johnnie’s for The catfish basket BUT CMON - they charged us the same $11 for a N/A margarita WTH?! Give us the alcohol and we’ll give it to our friends. Also only NA beer is Odouls! Again WTH?! 1990 called and wants their beer back! There is 50+ NA beers and seltzers on the market for those that want to enjoy the lake w/o a hangover and sunburn the next day

Catfish plate was a good amount of food with a nicely made salad. Real Blue Cheese Dressing was awesome. Catfish was nuggets instead of filets. But fried perfectly and tasty. Nice tartar sauce. Fries and mashed potatoes were good. Service was great. Nice pick when on the lake. A fair amount of boat parking but it fills up quick.

Lake front, live music, cold beverages and dock side boat access. This place is a must do during spring, summer and fall months. Plenty of TVs and good food. There is inside seating climate controlled, covered open air seating and a lower bar near the water where live music sets up. Let's go Columbia - Let's turn up at Catfish Johnny's/ Rusty Anchor!!!

Super late writing this review but at least it’ll be here before they open for the next season. I worked as a server for less than a month here. My skin is dark. That’s why I quit. Other employees always had an awkward way of bringing up race in conversation and it never failed for them to ask me if I wanted their black tables, rarely happened because diversity doesn’t exist on that end of the lake but anytime a poc came in all eyes were on me. Sick. This spot is for locals. If you are visiting from out of town and just want to appreciate the views, grab a drink or a bite, go to Liberty!

Love going here. But FYI- they close for the season on September 25th. Would have been nice if they updated their hours on here so people didn't waste their time.

Terrible food and service. Had to send all food back and not once did a manager intervene. I will not be back nor recommend to others. Very dissappointed.

We ate at the upper level, outside overlooking the boats, the water and the lower level with the band. From our perspective, it was the best seats in the entire establishment. Our waitress was the friendliest person.Parking: Plenty of parking for paying customers.Kid-friendliness: There were several children there and since the audience was cool and laid back, all was good.

The Rusty Anchor is attached to Catfish Johnny’s and is a casual, pub like expert with a simple menu, but good food. Live music and you can feed the turtles!!
