We found this pizza place during our snowbird stay in Charleston. Delicious wood-fired pizza in a fun atmosphere. Try the meatball pizza!

Came to Charleston the day after Christmas. Wasn't expecting a lot of places to be open. So glad D'Allesandro's Pizza was open. After a long day of driving and finally getting to our destination we were ready for something to eat. D'Allesandro's was the closest thing in walking distance to where we were staying. The service and pizza was amazing! We love eating at local restaurants when we are out of town, instead of chains. This place did not disappoint!!

Very popular Pizza place in Charleston. A neat vibe with friendly staff. The pizza was really good and the prices were very fair. Especially for Charleston.

We were visiting Charleston and had many long days of sight seeing, so we ordered in from this pizza place more than once - because it is that good!

D'Allesandro's Piza was recommended to us during our last trip to Charleston. It was a great pizza and the staff were fantastic. Can't wait to return!

What a wonderful experience. When traveling, my wife and I try to never eat at chain restaurants. We were told about this neighborhood pizza shop. When we walked in we were greeted by locals who helped us choose what to eat. The large salad was enough for four. Fresh and loaded with cheese, black olives, purple onions and cherry tomatoes. Try the balsamic. One of the best ever. Our waiter was slammed since he was the only waiter working. He did a great job getting to us as soon as he could. The salad and cheesy bread sticks arrived quickly and were great. We had gone back and forth between a small (10”) or medium (12”) and decided on the medium. Too much again. The pizza was great. The oven had the cheese melted and the crust slightly charred on the bottom but not burned. We eventually gave our left overs to a young couple sitting beside us to enjoy the next day. As I said all the customers appeared to be locals or students. I highly recommend you go a little out of your way to eat here. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

The pizza at D'Allesandro's is the best! The first time we ordered we had it delivered and the second time we picked it up and walked it back to the Jonathan Jasper Wright Inn. It was amazing both times and I would highly recommend it. My mom got one with just meatballs, and I got the Bare Naked pizza. We also shared a plain cheese pizza and they were all amazing.

We were not impressed. . Pizza was not good. It tasted like paper with sauce on top. I would skip the pizza here.

We loved this place. It was just across the street from our VRBO and had the perfect local feel we were looking for. The pizza was great and the service was fun

First timers. Got delivery. Pizza was EXCELLENT! Too much roasted garlic...like way too much...but in spite of that...still makes my list of top 10 pizza's ever...and that's alot coming from a guy that is from Chicago and worked most of his life in NY and Philly. Just a really good pie. Stromboli was good...but not in the same league as the pizza. Would definitely come back. Thank-you!

I’ve loved their pizza for years & have rarely been disappointed.... the annoying crap- it’s longer than an hour blah blah- I’ve worked in restaurants and remember what it’s like, with COVID it’s worse. FINE. I ordered something I order often & knew what the total would be..... $20.70 I always pay in cash & did the same that evening.... My pizza was delivered by James K. I received my ( cold) pizza & payed- Here’s the rub- I gave the BOY in this review $25.75 20%ish for a delivery The BOY threw the change down the front steps & stomped away——— I don’t know where he grew up but for driving 4 blocks and walking up 7 steps 20% is more than appropriate That kid ruined it for me & I will NEVER, after years of loving the pizza, order again.... Thanks James Kieve! ?

TRY THIS PLACE if you like supporting local businesses, enjoy quirky environments and LOVE a great “fresh ingredient” pizza! We had planned to eat dinner elsewhere, but it didn’t work out, so we did a little research reading reviews and gave D’Allesandro’s a try. This was not only a cool little spot with great service, an awesome soundtrack, but also has fantastic pizza and a good beer list!! We ordered the “Educators” pizza, and a portion of the proceeds go to local schools (HOW COOL IS THAT?!). It has a thin crispy crust, and the topping ingredients were undeniably FRESH, and perfectly balanced. We heartily recommend D’Allesandro’s!
