Lights is dining at Aji. We are from New Jersey and had the pleasure of having dined with on the delicacies created by Tim at our local sushi restaurant and are jealous that folks in Charleston have access to this great restaurant. We look forward to returning later in the year.

We love going to Aji when we are in the mood for Sushi and don't want to leave the island. The kids found one of our favorite secret dishes; a Spicy Tuna Sushi Pizza. It's one of our favorite dishes, we must order it every time we eat here, we actually had to order 2 the other day, LOL. We also tried their Pork Ramen soup, it was good but needed more salt, in the broth. They have great service; you can see that everyone is working hard to make sure you have a good meal. We have gone for birthdays before, they have a nice sunken in-dining area where you take your shoes off and eat in a Seiza-type setting. I would recommend Aji if you're looking for a fun atmosphere with well-priced sushi and good service.

We love eating here. There are always tables available and you are seated immediately and it is nice and quiet. The staff is quick and very sweet. The food is higher quality Chinese which is a nice change from cheap quick Chinese food. The General Tso is my favorite. The relaxing tea was very nice as well.

I'm honestly in SHOCK that this place has this many good reviews... the food was slightly better than slop. My family eats pretty authentic Japanese food about twice a month and this wasn't even close. I've NEVER been anywhere that the white sauce wasn't even close to correct. Vegetables felt like they were cut by a toddler and that carried over to the filet that came out like it was cut up for a toddler. Unfortunately, I'm not confrontational or I would have tried to negotiate the bill but the fact that we were charged $70+ for two people for absolute slop that was sent back more than 75% uneaten is unreal. Wait staff and atmosphere, fantastic. The food is the flop here...

The service is great here. Aji is good, better than average. The only real gripe I have is that the quality of food can vary night to night. Sometimes it's really good and then on other nights not so much. Still I do go back as it is a great neighborhood bistro.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome ?

We were here in Aji on Wednesday last week for my friend’s birthday. Food and service were excellent. They were surprised us for a lovely birthday’s ice-cream, a photo hanging up the birthday wall. We love sushi, especially eel avocado rolls in Aji, great taste. My friend had chicken Hibachi, and she loved it. We will back soon. Thank you guys so much. The best sushi restaurant ever in Charleston ❤️

Wow, amazing sushi restaurant. Tonight it was our first time being here. Food and customer service were great. They were pretty busy tonight because of New Year Eve, but everything was good. Our family had dinner with sushi, and kitchen food. Very good. They also gave us gift for new year, it is tea set. Omg, I love tea, so I love it so much. You guys are so nice. We will back, of course. Thank you so much
