Supee friendly staff. I had the club sandwich special, and it was phenomenal . I highly recommend this place for a quick bite or call ahead and have your sandwich to go!!

Visited this place twice while assisting a loved one at the near by hospital. It was a great find and a break from the hospital environment with its atmosphere of nostalgic 80's 90's memorabilia. The food selection was vast and delicious. First day was a Bougie Breakfast Sandwich and the next was the Devil Wears "Burrata" which they had to double check they could make perhaps due to the ingredients? Overall the food was delicious and if I lived in the area it would become a frequent stay. They staff didn't seem to personable for a café type environment during both visits. Friendly at check out, but once you're set they were focused more on their side of the counter which is fine.

Busy and Bustling! It has an ole skool air about it. Vintage deli with anything and everything you’d think you could eat at a deli. Hipstery too.I had a reeeeeeeeally good salmon salad. Actually it was pretty perfect. I can’t lie.I took a look at some of the other plates being brought out and caught a glimpse of some fried potatoes that looked awesome. I gotta get that next time. I love the atmosphere. This place came highly recommended and I’m doing the same for y’all.

Good Burger. Wld give 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive. $5 for a sml can of beer super whack. Service was just okay.

We had Chipotle Chicken pita, folly crunch wrap, chili cheese dog, 3 bags of chips and 3 bottles of coke. Food was great! Had to order take out since no available seats, but I took pictures of every wall while waiting! From Garbage pail cards to Atari games decorating door ways to retro board games on tables to play, it was almost sensory overload. Menu is large, hope we have to visit again while in town!!

The food and atmosphere here is great. Tons of things on the wall that you can reminisce and tell your kids all about them! I had the chicken of the sea sandwich and it was delicious! Will definitely be back here again.

Loved the smoothies and the pesto pasta was also excellent. The place has a fun, upbeat vibe too. I'm looking forward to going back and trying more. Cool spot!

Another starving workday led me to grab another hungry coworker to try a Mount Pleasant restaurant. These sandwiches all sound so delicious it was hard to choose. We both decided we needed "The Devil Wears Burrata" and that was a total win. A delectable fresh creamy HUGE slab of burrata is the star. The choice Italian meats and condiments worked together to make this an absolute treasure, and I will order it again. We were in Heaven, and I really needed a nap afterwards.Because I am a pig, I also got the Paradise Panini, but was so full I couldn't eat it til the next day. It had lost some of its luster but I could tell it would have been spectacular eaten right away. Next on my agenda is their Fried Green Tomato BLT. I can't wait!

The Calhoun Cuban was SO GOOD!! 100/10. New favorite sandwich for sure. Guajillo with pulled pork is such a great combo. Chef Wes is genius.

Went here because it was within walking distance from musc and has a few vegan options. I got the plant loaf sandwich and the green Latifah smoothie without honey. It was busy when I went so there was a but of a wait on my meal. But worth it. I'd order it again.

The Smash Bros Burger was juicy. The Bikini Bottom smoothie was bursting with flavor but was overpriced ($8 for a 16 oz). We did enjoy the atmosphere though!

Brown Dog Deli - Calhoun Street is really walkable from MUSC. Order at counter, receive a number, grab a table and wait for food. They have people to clean up and wipe off tables. Very cool interior of vintage items. Must see. Bikini Bottom smoothie was good ($8 for a small), Smash Burger was good and sauce rocked, while the roast beef, cheese, sautéed onions and au jus sandwich was also a good choice.
