5 stars all around! Our waiter was excellent. The owner introduced himself. The steaks were amazing. They were very careful making sure my daughter’s meal was gluten free. We even found a parking spot right outside the front door.

We had Fantastic service and amazing steak. The Hot Rock appetizer was fun!Best steak and mashed potatoes I've ever put in my mouth and beer on tap was delicious. The very best though was the service, I hate I forgot his name but he was a gentleman in his early 30s, with glasses and dark hair. Give that man a raise! What a great waiter.

Well this was an amazing experience.. I was in Charleston for a long weekend trip. It was not my first trip to Charleston, but it was my first experience with Burwell's. They did not disappoint.First we were welcomed right away, and the staff was super friendly. The manager even came over to check on us, and ensure everything was going well. Of course it was!Next and most importantly, the food.. MY GOD.. A+ Steak. I opted for the Ribeye, and it was cooked perfectly.. It was probably one of the best steaks I have ever had, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We will be back for sure!

We had a wonderful dining experience for my boyfriend’s birthday.Fried . The breading was pretty soft and kept crumbling off. I wish it was crispierSeasonal . He devoured it all.Wagyu hot rock: 5/5. Delicious. Melts in your mouth.Filet . His came out medium instead of rare but he still enjoyed itWagyu . I took half of this back to the hotel and FORGOT IT. I will think of it often.Creme Brûlée: 5/5. Perfect way to end the dinner. It was so light.
not only GREAT food, but AMAZING staff! could not recommend this place more. it started with the general manager getting us a table without having a reservation on a busy Saturday night, we were so appreciative. the hostess and server were very attentive and informative not only about the restaurant, but Charleston as a whole. the chef was very considerate and helped navigate my food allergies. the owner constantly checked in on us and was very involved in his business. highly recommend!

They were very accommodating for my special diet. We came for a special occasion and I recently started a strict elimination diet. Honestly I was totally dreading this dinner bc I didn’t want to be “that girl” at the table questioning every ingredient. And I was fully expecting to have to sit and watch everyone else eat. But instead the chef came out, discussed my diet, and made sure there was an app, entree, and side that would be compatible with my restrictive diet. The food was delish (of course) but better than that was the fact that I could enjoy a meal with everyone else at the table.

Go here and enjoy the wonderful ambiance, quiet mood and delicious meal. We started off with this goes down too easy but you'll want to savor it Berry Bubbly made from Svedka Citrus vodka, elder flower sour, champagne and berries which float up and down in the bubbly ($8). For an appetizer we started off with the beef tenderloin which comes with their signature 700 degree cooking stone to sear the meats to which ever level of raw or cooked you'd like ($18).I ordered their SRF burger ($15) medium which comes with their crunchy and tasty Parmesan cheese fries which I nearly finished off. Dessert was a given: I ordered their creme brulee which comes with fruits while my best friend got their trio of ice cream: cherry, vanilla with coconut and Guiness chocolate. Our server, Dereck, was so wonderful! Highly recommend this location.
