Great off the beaten path bar with food trucks in the parking lot. Must see hunter when you arrive! He will remember your name and be very attentive. If you see dutchess give her a pet. Also the partner Bill Murray is known to visit here once a year on Tuesdays!!! Try and catch him!!
Container bar has been my favorite bar from the moment I turned 21. I have made genuine friendships with each bartender. They are immediately very welcoming even when they're swamped with business. I feel like this is the one bar in Charleston that I can relax at and feel like I am at home. If anyone says anything different then they are incorrect. Thank you to the workers at container bar.

They never ignore anyone. It's just sometimes busy. Don't believe these reviews. I've gone probably over 100 times. Lovely bartenders. They make great connections with regulars and new comers. Great atmosphere as well.

Nice big outdoor space with food trucks and decent beer but service is hit or miss. Have met a couple of great bartenders then one bartender asked me "keep the change?" When I gave her a twenty for 2 draft beers. Formerly being in food and bev I cant stand that question. I won't be returning.
