Arguably one of the best bagel spots in Charleston. I had their bacon, egg, cheese on a whole wheat bagel and it was a perfect combination of chewy and crispy. Definitely a must try!

Me and my boyfriend used to live a block away from them and would stop by as often as we could. Greatest staff ever. Everyone you talk to is friendly and helpful, and they really make a point to get to know you if you come by quite a bit. Food is delicious, and as a vegan I loveeee the fact that they have options for me. The Hungry Hungry Hippie and The Eastside Book Club we're our favorites, so I definitely recommend them. Over all a stellar place, you won't be disappointed.

Cute spot in gentrified part of town. Pleasant staff. Sweet covid accommodations. Decent bagel. Good steam, not too wet. Where's the smoked salmon? I'm super not into sandwiches with poorly spread toppings. Would return, but would order extra cream cheese and would plan to dismantle and reassemble myself before eating. Unfortunately, I'd left the neighborhood before opening my togo bag. Wasn't worth the $ for what I got and how I got it.Could have been the particular staff- as a food service worker myself, I get the inconsistency amongst staff. Also into management that wants strong product and encourages consistency.

Disclaimer: this place is SLOW. Or at least is was when I went on a Saturday in late September 2020. Waited 45 minutes, which even for consideration during covid is a bit much for breakfast sandwiches. Bagels were steamed which I am not used to. The bagel and the fillings were good, but I prefer a crunchy baked bagel.

Bagel was some how incredibly hot but not at all toasted. Didn’t think “toasted” needed to be specified when ordering a bagel. I’m assuming it was some kind of microwave situation. Service was also slow and the other sandwich order was wrong.
