Food was average at best. We put our name in at Hyman's but it was over an hour wait and it was chilly outside and this was the only place that did not have a wait. My wife got the fried platter and got shrimp and scallop. They were both super salty and a little soggy. I had the blackened mahi and it was okay. The atmosphere was really great and seems like a great place to go for drinks and music when they have it. It was our only not outstanding meal during our 7 days here.

Recently did a girls trip to Charleston and discovered this place. We loved it so much we went 3 times! Delicious jambalaya and the rum punch is amazing!

This is a repeat from two years ago. Then, we stuck to drinks on the rooftop. This trip we did two separate visits with late lunch and drinks. I found the "Limeade" refreshing. It was not too sweet and had a nice balance of lime and bubbles. The crab soup was wonderful and the greens were tasty! Service both times was great.Wheelchair accessibility: With assistance through the narrow door, coming in is not too difficult. Once inside, it is accessible on first floor only. There, the floors are hardwood, and the tables are spaced such that navigating to the table should be easy enough. The building is a renovation. There is no elevator to the other two floors.

Horrible service all around. Received food staggered from my wife’s and by the time we got hers mine was cold. Everything was overcooked and was definitely not what we were looking for. Stay away… I feel we fell for the tourist

Short handed in kitchen, waiter was running food for other tables. I had the hamburger, it was dry and had no seasoning or flavor, the fries were plain but the sweet tea was great , not worth $25

First of all it's all what you order if you are going to give this place 3 or 5 stars. The She Crab Soup is to die for. You won't be disappointed and will ask yourself if it's acceptable to lick your bowl (It's not). If you like grits the shrimp and grits comes highly recommende, my son ordered that and loved it. I got the jambalaya it was as good as they boasted it would be, I highly recommend it. Now this is where it gets 4 not 5 stars. my wife and other so. got the crab cake sandwich. Now we are from Maryland so we take our crab cakes seriously. They were just okay and too much filler you would do better going with the staff's recommendation. Last note the staff was great and the ambience was fun. I recommend this place!!!!!!
All right so first of all the ratings for Henry's are very harsh and often times I would say incorrect. I found the food here enjoyable, not game changing but good nonetheless. The service here is said to be rude but our server was very polite and made sure that we would have a good experience. Another thing is that a lot of people don't like how Henry's looks, I found it to be pretty neat with an old fashioned jazz vibe to it. I would say that everything was pretty good however it was a little bit of a wait but if you have time I would definitely recommend.
