Did was good but the take out took 38 minutes. I've gotten take out twice and both times I had to wait too long.

I was just over there, and since I was outside, I was accidently forgotten about for a good while. Accidents happen, no big deal. The waitress, Lexi, went above and beyond to correct that mistake, offering to cover my meal. The manager ended up covering it in the end. So, I thought I needed to share what a great experience it was, and I will certainly come back (though I may eat inside next time).

Famulari's was out of wings tonight, so I decided to try out Kickin' Chicken's. Silky Johnston described the quality of wings at Kickin' Chicken best when he said: "What can I say about (those wings) that hasn't already been said about Afghanistan; It looks bombed out and depleted."

It's been awhile since I've dined in and have been ordering my food as a pickup because of Covid.Dined in last night with a friend and it was terrible. A part of the order was wrong, cold, and the service was very slow. The place was hardly busy inside. Very disappointing. It'll be awhile before I eat there again

We have been getting takeout from the James Island Kickin' Chicken for over 10 years.. have always been satisfied until this past year! COVID might have something to do with it?? My philly chicken sandwich tonight had globs of lukewarm cheese on chunks of chicken. Although the taste was not too bad (after scraping off most of the cheese), the sandwich just looked gross and unappetizing! The time before this we ordered a basket of fries and got the equivalent of a small side order of fries.. all of this while the prices have been going up! We will probably not be back for a while!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! ordered food for delivery and the delay in delivery is ridiculous. It has been over an hour and the food is still not here. Their tracking said the order should have been delivered 15 minutes ago. Do not order from this place.

Very disappointed. I placed a pick up order for the signature original kickin chicken with potato salad. The fried chicken appeared darker and had a dry texture. The order time was spot on but I believe that my chicken were recooked. May want to check the oil.

We're local to this location and eat here all the time. My rating for them can go up or down depending, but this last time the food was excellent and the to-go order was 100% accurate. Had to take a star for being 15 minutes late from the time promised.
1/17/21 ordered naked chicken wings 12 and potatoe salad as delivery from Folly Rd. Kickin Chicken.Potatoe salad great. Delivery on time. Chicken hard, cold,dry. ?old. Very disappointed.Received 20 mins before closing.Will not go there or order from them again.

So we've been coming here for years and it had been a few good months since we've been. (My mom just died, and that place was right near her house, so we always hit it in 911 or NOT situations, so it's been kinda hard to go back . Well, the other night, I Just KNEW, I had to have a Kickin Chicken salad (1000 from home- they stopped making it) and 6 Polynesian Wings, I'm a total wimp and never get Buffalo or hot or anything crazy. Point being, I'm not gonna say anything new anyone hadn't already said about Kickin Chicken, except that it hit the spot, I mean all food was EATEN!!! And I'm glad they still have the lost skirt program, shouldn't EVERY restaurant have one these days, considering we're risking our lives to eat and support them.? Wonder if this is possible. K.C is still the same as it ever was..... just good salad and wings and burgers.

I rated this place a couple years ago and usually only rate someplace once. The service last time was slow and the food good. I think they were understaffed last time and they took care of that issue. Today the food was very good, as expected, the dining area was very clean and all safety measures for the Covid outbreak were being followed. The service today was outstanding. There were four adults and a newborn in a carrier. The hostess bought us a rack the held the carrier next to our table. The server was quick with the orders and attentive to items that helped with the baby. Outstanding and recommended!

Took my family here and we were promptly seated. Then, our waiter came to take our order. I politely asked for 2 minutes to peruse the menu. The waiter walked off and bussed three tables and seated large party. He then grabbed their drinks and proceeded to take their order. 20 minutes later we walked out after being completely ignored. Horrible customer service. I can't rate the food as our order was never taken.

Tried to eat here with the family tonight. I can't rate the food though as our server never felt the need to actually come and take our order. The place wasn't busy, he just didn't pay any attention to the fact that he was supposed to interact with us as part of his job. He waited on other tables that were seated in his section after we had been sitting for 15 minutes, so we left.
