Wish I could leave zero stars. My husband and toddler both got food poisoning from this place.

We went to this place for the first time, every thing was great, only wish the steak was hot instead of cold in my ramen like the broth and noodles were but it was

Unfortunately I will not be going back and don’t recommend. Tonight the staff made us feel very unwelcome to dine in after spending $60 on food for 2. They clearly voiced they were ready to close and go home. They proceeded to sweep under our feet as we were eating, sprayed us with cleaner while cleaning the already clean table next to us and slamming dishes around while cleaning up. Website states they close at 9 we were out by 8:45ish

It's a very cute hole in the wall ramen place with a variety of noodle dishes. I personally only thought that the ramen (spicy ramen with ground pork) was mid. It was not super flavorful or that spicy but it did have a variety of toppings. I also tried the tuna donut roll and it was also just okay. I do really like the fact that they validate parking and the customer service is great! Awesome and very nice people.

Poke Burri/Lifting Noodles is the best ramen in town! They provide a unique combination Poke style burritos, invigorating ramen, and other delicious concepts. The atmosphere is amazing with fantastic customer service led by the owner Jeff and team, while setting the mood with a awesome playlist of music. If you’re local or visiting and looking for a Poke or Ramen shop this is the place to be.Parking: If you park in the paid parking spaces just use the code on your receipt to gain free parking within the requested parking time frame.

Had the spicy kimchi Ramen. Cannot recommend enough! Everything Ramen should be, a bouquet of savory flavors and aromas woven together in a portion size that leaves you loosening your belt. The marinated soft boiled egg was exquisite and the highlight of the dish. Owner and staff went out of their way to be friendly. Bathroom was spotless. 10/10.

If you’re looking to warm up this winter, this is the place to go! The ramen along with all the appetizers(yes we ordered every one) was amazing. We also couldn’t skip out on a poke bowl which was so fresh! Let’s just say, Jeff knows what he’s doing! Don’t miss out and come here for lunch or dinner!

Ive been yearning for a really good ramen place to come to Charleston ever since I moved here from living in the cold, snowy Midwest for 7 years -- which has amazing ramen places. I've been getting my ramen fixes from different popups and Asian restaurants around town (Fuji, Pink Bellies, Chasing Sage) but they usually don't have too many ingredients to choose from or let you make too many changes to how it already comes. I've tried Lifting Ramen twice (the second time I went, just to make sure I didn't like it). First of all I don't like ground meat in ramen. I think only cuts of braised meat that can provide flavor should be used. I didn't know it was going to come in my broth and I was pretty grossed out by it. Most importantly, I just didn't find the flavor of the broth to be all that robust which I think is the basis for any good ramen and even though I got it spicy, I could not taste any heat which was such a disappointment because a flavorful, spicy broth is absolutely yummy and makes my soul happy. With ramen, I also prefer larger cuts of veggies so that each bite of the soup is a full-on titillating experience of various flavors but the veggies here are cut up so small their flavor and texture is almost imperceptible when eating (onions and the black mushrooms for instance). I also would have preferred if there were more ingredients to choose from (nori, red onions, and cilantro would be nice). My friend who I went with is a foodie and found it lacking in flavor too. I actually left kinda hungry. :-/

The Brussel sprouts were fantastic. We got the 1Up Ramen with kale noodles and added fried onions and seaweed for free to get all the veggie toppings. The veggie broth was delicious and some in the group said it was the best they have had. Would definitely come back!
