We liked this pub a lot. Very nice atmosphere. Excellent customer service and the food was great. We had the goat cheese burger and micheladas.

This place surprised me. Did not expect a place that served American bar food to have good sushi. BUT I was pleasantly surprised. Enough to come back and get 5rolls for a date. I can’t remember exactly what I got but I do know both the fried and raw sushi was very good.

Stopped in here for a few pints and sushi. They have a good selection of locally crafted beer and sushi rolls. Good price for the quality sushi that is offered. They have a loft with arcade games but the focus of my visit was the food and drink.

Great food and the absolute BEST service! I had a name mix up on the pickup I ordered for myself through Uber-that was my fault not the stores, and they were absolute pros and handled it in five minutes flat. The manager, Carlton, was awesome and so helpful. I’ll deff be back!

It has taken me 3 weeks to post this, your James Island location truly needs some direction for customer service. We arrive with a party of 12, we were the only customers in your establishment. We received horrible drive and food was horrible. Once we finally tabbed out we tried to get another drink from the bartender who was abrasive and unkind. Will never return.

The food is great, but Chris is the reason we keep coming back! We always sit at the bar and love having a place that we come to where he knows our names and what we like to drink/eat. So kind and professional. Chris always makes everyone feel comfortable and like we are in our own local Cheers!

Recently tried Locals since we used to come to this spot when it was two other different restaurants. Food was good and servers were friendly. It’s got some typical bar food but then stuff like sushi and hibachi. Will definitely come back.Parking: Parking is around the back of restaurant which can be a bit confusing if you’ve never been here. But plenty of spots once you get back there!Kid-friendliness: Yes it’s kid friendly

Sushi was good. BUT the spring rolls were terrible. Such a disservice to a yummy appetizer. I’m mixed with Vietnamese and so I grew up my whole life making these at home with my family, so I would say I have a great sense of how they should be. It is so obvious they are not made fresh to order. Or even made fresh daily. It was very clear to me these were DAYS old. The wrapper was so hard. (Supposed to be super soft. The spring roll should be squishy that’s how soft they should be) The noodles were so dry. It was terrible. I mean they are faster to make than sushi. There is no reason that they can’t be made to order. Other than those two things that completely ruined them (I will never order again. I’d rather just make them at home) there’s hardly any filling in them. These are the smallest spring rolls I’ve ever seen from any restaurant I’ve ever ordered them from. I mean come on. Those are full of such cheap things. The most expensive item in them is the shrimp and there’s like one maybe per roll. The bartender was nice and took them off of my ticket, even though I told him not to worry about it. If you’re wanting spring rolls, I highly suggest going to Pho Saigon on James Island if you’re going to go to the locals on James Island for those. Please make them fresh daily if you’re not going to make them to order…or just don’t make them at all because it really is such a disservice to something that is and can be super yummy. Other than that, I did enjoy my sushi and ordered two of the same rolls

Very odd experience. First server was outstanding. She had to close us out due to shift change. Second server was horrible, he told us he wanted us to leave since he had a hangover. Horrible service the entire evening, he just wasn't interested in being there and was very obvious making sure we knew he couldn't be bothered. Really put a damper on our evening.
