This place is all about ambiance, the crafted bars and tables and decor are such a fresh treat for Charleston. And the food is fantastic! Great beans are proof of great food. The Tequila selection is probably the largest I have ever seen! Well Done!

Food was a bit pricey but our server, George, was excellent! So kind and really set a great atmosphere. The ambience is spectacular and a great place to enjoy dinner (if you have some money to blow, again the menu is a bit expensive)!!

The food was excellent. The vibes immaculate. The service? Not the best, but it was very close to closing time so it was to be expected. We were looking for a bite to eat after a concert and this was one of the few restaurants still open. We decided to try it since it was across the street from our hotel and we were exhausted from traveling. If you’re looking for a later dinner (past 10 PM) this is a great spot.I ordered the grilled stuffed jalapeños and they were incredible. The quesadilla was good, but the star was the garlic creama and the specialty salsas. The habanero salsa was incredible. So spicy, but also sweet and fruity. I highly recommend asking for a small side of that.My friend’s carne asada sandwich was great and the fried that came with it were top tier.

Shout out to the baldy bartender who said pork wasn’t a red meat. It’s all good though. Just thought I’d educate.“ Pork is classified a red meat because it contains more myoglobin than chicken or fish. When fresh pork is cooked, it becomes lighter in color, but it is still a red meat. Pork is classed as "livestock" along with veal, lamb, and beef. All livestock are considered red meat.” The

This place is over the top Awesome! Beautiful entrance on Meeting Street is irresistible. Then it gets better as you walk by the bar and go upstairs to the Mezcaleria and rooftop bar. So, the food!!! I tried the vegetarian burrito for some reason, I’m not vegetarian btw. It was incredibly delicious. So, my tip to you is Brunch!!!! You’ll be addicted to their Mimosas forever! Right on Matador!

Food is good, classic Mexican dishes done well. Beer on tap is good, but the Margaritas are awful. Super long glass with far too much sweet liquid, tasted like fruit juice. When my wife explained that she wanted a classic marg he pushed them back and said nothing he could do - VERY disappointing.

The margaritas were probably the worst we have ever had. The food not that great. My husband got sirloin tacos. Three piece of meat with fat on them really dry. I think they want you to fill up on the cheep black bean. I got the bacon cheese burger no taste. Our son do fish it was ok would never order again. Good place to eat chip’s and salsa. Get a beer.

Bar hopped a few places while visiting Charleston. Overall between the food and drinks everything was better than most of the places. Stayed in town for the week and ended up returning multiple times over the past week. Sebastian and the rest of the Bar staff is great and very friendly too! Great location in downtown Charleston, close to everything. Would definitely return next time in town!

Amazing prices and great quality. You cannot beat it. Look at the prices of the happy hour. The atmosphere and decorations there seems to bring you back to Spain. Unbelievable gem that we found the walking by. . We were attended by waitress, CJ…..she was as amazing. Very attentive and offered a great southern style authentic customer service. 100 stars!
