We were in our room for the night and decided we needed something to eat. I went out to find us something because we was not sure what was open due ti it being Thanksgiving. I seem Monzo was open and went in to get something to go. Decided on pizza and an order of meatballs. We could not have been more pleased with the quality of the food. Some of the beast pizza ever. Highly recommend Monzo

I was told only bar seating was available. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very slow. Finally brought menus for us. Then came back for our order. One of the drinks was a Cosmopolitan but he only asked if we wanted house or Titos. But the drink brought to us wasn't a Cosmopolitan. We told him but it was ignored. Our food order came and no plates and no napkins or silver ware. Then after a 1/2 hour he asked if we wanted anything else. HORRIBLE service

Absolutely the best! Pizza was outstanding, service great, atmosphere welcoming. Best dinner we've had in Charleston!

Regular customers every time in Charleston. An hour wait for 2 pies while take out was moving right along. Do you want to be a takeout or dine in place? Pick one . Pizza was over cocked and not worth the wait. Our server was doing her best and deserved better efficiency from the kitchen. What’s going on?

Vodka Sauce pasta lacked any flavor, sauce was really watery and the pasta slightly overcooked. Ciccio pizza was meh, overall wasn't worth the money.

Honestly, with the reviews being so good I would've expected better food and service. I'm not one to leave reviews on really anything but here goes: when we walked in the hostess was very friendly, restaurant was clean and atmosphere was nice. Unfortunately that atmosphere went downhill as soon as we met our server, I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or just dislikes her job. From the start her tone was very demeaning to both of us. Just as an example, when my friend asked for a specific pizza he requested there be pepperoni added to it, to which she responded "Uhh so a pepperoni pizza?" in a tone that most would find very demeaning. We both shrugged it off because it was 8pm on a Friday night in Charleston. I'm sad to say though it only gets worse from here, when she brought out my coke, I was drinking from the glass and I had noticed what I thought was either a chip or a crack in the glass. Nope, it was old dried on food (it looks like a booger but I'm being optimistic here, for my sake) when I finally managed to find her and asked her to come over, I showed her the glass to which she just grabbed it said "sorry" really quietly and walked away not even letting me finish my sentence. Other than that, the pizza was just alright, nothing to write home about, but was definitely not worth the $18 I paid for it. I'm not looking for free food, or discounts. Mainly because I'll never return. But I hope they wash their dishes a little better in the future.

For the butterbean salad on its own it is worth the trip here. The pizza was very good. Good sauce. The crust was thin and chewy and delicious. Service great and atmosphere, lively.

Reminds you of Italy. Delicious. Angel was great also.

Don’t try to walk into the empty restaurant with no reservations without expecting to be talked down to by all staff roles. I now understand why the seats were empty.

Pizza was decent - a bit dry - but the flavors were on point. Basil cocktail was refreshing and meatball appetizer was good. Super friendly staff was able to get us seated and fed in time for us to make it to the show we were in town to see with time to spare.

After a long day touring Charleston, we just wanted a quick bite. Haven’t had a pizza in a while so we decided to try Monza. Great small pizzas, just enough for two. Thin, crispy crust and terrific sauce, not too much cheese and the closest yet to a real NY pizza. Comfortable seating and pictures of old Ferraris, circa 50’s, at the famous Monza racetrack adorned the walls. Wine by the glass was a little pricey, but King Street is a little touristy.

The staff here was amazing! I was being hounded by a guy there and clearly was uncomfortable. The staff made sure I was safe and able to get away from this guy. Plus the food was amazing. So thankful for the caring staff that made sure I was safe!

We tried several items on the menu with a pizza and two of the pasta sauces, the vodka sauce was barely present on the penne, the boulonaise sauce looked much better. You know pasta is cheap amd when you go to a Italian place you should expect to get enough to eat. 4 guys with two appetizers and we did not have enough. Strange! The server and service was great and this the reason for three stars, food was not on pare with pricing. Some changes need to be made or more qc.
