The restaurant has just reopened under the name Sultan, and while it is physically the same, the food is much, much better. We had the falafel appetizer which, for falafel, was light and flavorful under the usual hard crust. Then we had the boneless chicken, just dark meat that we prefer, along with mixed vegetables and crispy potato slices, and that too was very flavorful. Finally, their baklava also very good and was not dripping with honey, so the flavor of the other ingredients came through. We were in a large group of people that chose a variety of menu items, and I only heard positive comments.

I had a nice meal here at Olympic. I had the lamb/beef Gyro Platter with Sauteed Vegetables as my side. The Gyro meat was tasty and the Sauteed Vegetables are outstanding. They are perfectly cooked, neither soggy nor undercooked. Beautiful variety of vegetables, not just the typical bland zucchini. It was green beans, carrots, broccoli and more. I also got a side of Falafel, delicious. The seating is comfortable, it's nicely lit and comfortably warm. The service is outstanding.

A real hidden treasure! It is difficult these days to find food that is altogether DELICIOUS, NUTRITIOUS, and FAIRLY PRICED. We found it here at Olympik. The flavor parade in every dish left us dancing in our seats. I have a trained, discriminating palate and the lamb chops, hummus, rice (royally seasoned) and salad did not disappoint! Service was awesome and restrooms maintained well). Olympik is a new discovery for me moved to the top of my very short list of dining out preferences. Bon appetit!

Reason: latest state health inspection! Check it out. The first was bad and then they came back and got another C. Dead roaches, rotten food. Yuk! Yuk! Yuk!

The elderly couple that use to own this restaurant were so sweet and the food was so good. With the new owners the price has dang near tripled. The menu has changed with the items they offer and combo's. I'm not sure if the food is still good because I refuse to pay triple the price for a gyro.

The food was delicious. Service was friendly and fast. The new full bar was ready to go, and flat screen TVs circled the room. All good!!

Very good food, I had two appetizers: samosa and falafel. They were freshly prepared and delicious. It's a low key atmosphere and service is prompt and attentive.I also got baklava to go and it was served hot and had chocolate drizzled on top.

I have not posted a yelp review in a while, but I HD to warn folks about this place. First let me say that this is no fault of the server. He was courteous and I think sympathetic. Next, let me give you my credentials. I grew up across the street from a Greek family. I have lived in cities with large Greek populations (Phoenix, Denver, LA) so I know what things should taste like. I ordered the Greek lemon rice soup, a Greek Salad and a lamb gyro. Let's start with the soup; what I was given did not resemble Greek lemon rice soup. There was no rice, there was no lemon. It was so salty as to be inedible. I pointed this out to my server, who kindly removed it from my bill. Next up, the Greek salad. The biggest affront was that they used Parmesan cheese instead of feta. The dressing was flavorless. The piece-d-resistance was the lamb gyro that had, and I will swear on a Bible to this - ranch dressing instead of tzatziki. It was the worst meal I have ever eaten. Please do not think this is a Greek restaurant. Clearly they don't know what good Greek food is. Please stay away until a new owner or cook comes on board with traditional Greek recipes. I shudder to think what the other so called 'Greek' foods tasted like.

We went in for take-out. Charged several dollars more than the menu price for a gyro, didnt tell us. Refused to honor menu price when challenged ...just said the price had just been raised. Charged $2.99 fee for non-cash payment even though we paid cash (didnt notice until we were home). They were out of multiple items we wanted. A veggie dish we ordered was nothing like its description on the menu. They could have had happy customers so easily if they'd tried even a little. Instead they have an empty restaurant and now one more group who will never return. Sad.

Sept 19, 2023 12:30pUnfortunately, not the same under new management. Not sure where all these 4 &5 star reviews are from - maybe friends of the new management. This is fairly long review.Service is really slow...Got here at 12:30p, placed my order at 12:45p. There were literally 3 people in the whole place. The menu is different and I was told they were out of a lot of items on the menu.I ordered the Large Greek Salad with gyro meat as an add-on. The menu stated the salad consists of romaine & iceberg lettuce, Greek peppers, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese and kalamata olives.I asked for no onion and dressing on the side - was told the house dressing was Greek.I asked if pita bread was included and was told yes. After a few minutes the server returned to say the bread was not included, ordered 1 pita for $0.99.After an hour, the salad arrived - wrong, it arrived swimming in dressing with onion, green peppers not Greek peppers, and no feta, no olives and no romaine lettuce? The server took it back even though I said that I would deal with it - it returned without dressing, meat was cold, and still no olives, feta cheese or romaine lettuce?Music is absolutely awful ?It's like a cross between country music, polka and Greek - super weird. When the bill arrived, it was $18.76 for what amounted to a side salad with meat.At check out, I was going to pay with cash, I thought I only had a large bill and asked if she could make change for the bill. She said they did not have ANY change and was indicating to use credit card?I'm like oh heck no I'm not giving them my credit card with as messed up as everything else was..., server said she could get her purse and try to make change for me to pay my bill?I was able to locate enough smaller bills to pay without needing to make change.Definitely not returning, I'm so disappointed. Definitely will not recommend this place to anyone.
