Park & Grove is in the upper downtown Charleston area near Hampton Park. The location is not too crowded and they have a large lot available for parking across for the restaurant which makes it very convenient. The restaurant is decorated very nicely with Charleston themes and pictures and has a great romantic ambiance. For food, I really enjoy their daily specials, of which the bottomless mussels on Mondays and the smash burger deals on Wednesdays are my favorite. Great beer and wine selection available as well. Excellent choice for a date night outside of the busier part of town in a calmer relaxed environment.

I came here with my companion and she surprised me! Surprises are not for the lame, you need to be tough, like me. Most the time, I am tough as nails. Everyone once in a while I am not too tough but I don't think that is bad about me I think that just shows that I can feel a lot of different emotions whether they are good/bad/happy/sad/hungry. Those are my main 5 emotions. Usually I would replace sad with tired when I am thinking about my big 5, but it is not in my big 5 now because I haven't got much sleep the past two nights and quite frankly I haven't been tired during the day or even the night. I take that back last night i did get tired and became less social which made my feel like a weenie which I told one of my buddies on the way home from ice cream. Speaking of weenies, I got a hamburger here! (similar to hot dog weenies often I will have both) (I didn't have a hot dog here just a hamburger). I also had a martini. That is why my companion surprised ME. I have been doing mess arounds with martinis and you get to make your own here! That was really fun honestly I won't spoil it for you but you do get to spray the vermouth however much you want and there is some oil thing that was peculiar. We really liked when we had our martinis. We got it for happy hour. Wednesday's they have a $9 burger deal or maybe it was half off regardless my companion knew I would like that deal (well of course she thought I would like it when SHE [companion] pays). I am not even sure what kind of money she makes, I just told her that. All that to say, I wasn't in love the burger but I think that might be my fault I am starting to realize I don't like "fancy" burgers from "fancy" restaurants. I still liked it, I think it was just too fancy for me. Also I was nervous because I was with my companion and sometimes she gets silly when we eat.

Just a fabulous locally owned and operated cafe. Menu is fabulously consistent and staffs are extremely professional.Updated- still knocking it out of the park!

Had Easter brunch here. Awesome!! Food. Service. Atmosphere. Superb. I was torn between the crab cake Benedict and chicken biscuit with gravy and hot honey sauce. I went with the chicken. It was excellent! Wife had the breakfast burger. I tried it. Very flavorful. I think I need to go back tomorrow for the Benedict!! Check it out.

Please do yourself a favour and order the crab cake sandwich; of all we have had in our multi state travels, this was the most memorable. Perfect outdoor patio to bring our dog. Loved the mushroom and gnocchi dish. Beautifully made. We finished the meal with an affogato and it was the perfect finale. Jarred was very charming - the epitome of southern hospitality. Friendly and charismatic. Make sure to pop by if you’re visiting Charleston!

I love this place. It's more than a restaurant. It's a whole vibe! First time I came, it was for a late night date night dinner. Today was an awesome brunch experience. You've gotta check it out... Everything on the menu is good... EVERYTHING!!!

The atmosphere here is lovely- it is so well decorated and thought out. Even the bathroom was lovely. The service was great- I started with this cocktail that was essentially a vodka soda with some muddled fruit. It was very light and refreshing. We started with the parm fries which were thin and crispy and tasted fresh. We had the duck sandwich which melted in your mouth- I will say I wish I ordered that instead of my gnocchi, although my dish was delicious as well. The portion was perfect if you want to be full but don't want to take home leftovers or be wasteful. I also normally don't like mushrooms, but decided to branch out and I was so glad I did because this gnocchi used them perfectly. I have been wanting to try this place since I moved here and I'm so glad I did- I will definitely be back.

My favorite brunch spot as a Charleston native. I love everything about this spot including the extra parking lot. The ambiance is so cute and the service is great.

Such a GEM! All around great experience. It’s got a great lil vibe, ample parking near, food was phenomenal and fresh (and reasonably priced), staff was wonderful and cocktails are top notch. Thanks for a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!

Came in on AUCE mussels night and we were not disappointed. The PEI mussels were perfect, eh! And the fries and truffle fries were great sides. A different special every night for great variety and value. Wonderful atmosphere and terrific

This is my 4th or 5th time here and unfortunately the experience I have continues to go downhill with each visit. Tonight my husband and I dined for their special burger night and I want to preface that while our server was very nice, they were clearly extremely understaffed and it appeared there were maybe 2 servers if that for the entire restaurant. Once sat we waited over 10 minutes before our waitress came over. Then it was another 20 minutes until we got our drinks and nearly an hour from the time of ordering til when we got our entrees...this wait was wayyy to long and we were not checked up on enough. The drinks were not good- my husband ordered an old fashioned which did not look how an old fashioned should and tasted very watered down. We ordered the bib lettuc salad to start which was fine, the lettuce did not taste fresh, the bacon or lardons were not crispy and cold and overall it seemed under seasoned. We both ordered the "smash burger" which is not a smash burger...it is two very large patties. When ordering we were not asked what temp we wanted our meat cooked to which we assumed was due to the burger being a "smash burger", upon receiving our burgers both my husband and I noted they were overcooked and welldone temp. My burger was clearly sitting for a while as it was cold and my fries were also cold. My husband's burger was warm and his fries were more room temp but not as cold as mine. All in all I do not think this restaurant is worth a visit considering how many great places there are in the area. The quality, service and attention to detail is severely lacking.
