Not sure why the low ratings. We all had great sandwiches, salads and iced tea for lunch here today. The place was busy but the staff very effortlessly took care of everyone.

The peacock is awesome. However, what really made mine and my wife's night was our wonderful server Ally. Ally was like over the top friendly, helpful, and most important punctual and hospitable. Anyone who comes into this establishment should ask for her.

Way overpriced. $16 for a pre-made BLT on flavorless white bread. Would have gotten the eight dollar hot dog, but of course they were all out. The supposedly "fresh, warm" corn muffin, was stale and tasted like burnt plastic. For the cost, this place needs a menu revamp. The iced tea was good though! Criminal that they charge families this much after they had to pay an exorbitant entry fee.

Food is very decent for a cafe. The one employee is terrible. Cranky and rude, makes you feel like you’re a problem at every request even though it’s her job to take your order. She kind of ruins the mood.Location is beautiful, you may have a male peacock as a lunch guest which is great!

Food and drinks overpriced and of very poor quality. American style one would say. So often a bad experience with food in the US, coming from Europe you are just stunned how they can take it all the time…

Ordered the chicken salad sandwich, which had absolutely no taste. The potato salad wasn't much better. The local beer was good. Steve the peacock hung around waiting for scraps.

Ok, the food wasn't bad. The Ham and Swiss sandwich was actually good. But here's the downside. It was so flabbergastingly expensive. Another sandwich, I don't remember the name, only contained tomatoes and pickles AND COSTED $13!! Almost everything exept for the Ham and Swiss was super overpriced. The plantation itself wasn't horrible unlike the café. The experience could be much better if they improved the price level.

The only highlight here is the peacocking waking around. Everything else was just disappointing. Iced coffee was bland with no flavor. The so-called big ice cream sundae cone was just a small sized pre-packaged you can get at any grocery store. Not to mention it was way overpriced given the quality. We did not order any food, Hence cannot really comment on the food quality or taste.

Service is nice, very friendly people. It's hard to be disappointed eating among the trees and flowers here, but honestly, food not good. We got the chicken sandwich and the ham and Brie. The ham and Brie was missing the Brie. So it was just a very generous slab of alright ham, and nothing else. But also somehow soggy. I took one bite and said "no thank you, no more." Then tried a bit of the chicken salad in a croissant. It was alright, slightly less soggy, but still not a spectacular sandwich. Towards the end, someone I was sharing the sandwich with found a large chunk of something chewy. She spit it out and that was the end of the meal. Overall, I'd say overpriced, and only eat here for an emergency. Otherwise, I would say no thank you.

Delicious freshly made salads and sandwiches await you at the Peacock Cafe! I highly recommend the chicken salad. The fresh apples and cranberries make it extra delicious. Enjoy!

We felt as though we were ruining these workers day.We asked for no mustard, and the food Deli gal shout out yeesssssss, I can make it that way.I felt truly sorry for both of these girls. When the ham & Swiss came with lots of mustard, when we asked if they could remake it, we now became a huge bother. I know help is hard to come by, yet some monitoring needs to happens before your rating drops below a 2....

Average sandwich. The peacocks were fun to dine with - they just wander around.Food is over priced.
