One of the worst Mexican food restaurants I’ve been to. The salsa was gross, the queso was bland, the margaritas were weak, the chips were greasy and the food was below average. Two of our four meals had steak in them and both were blood red raw. We asked for the uneaten raw meat to be taken off the bill but the manager had to be called (I guess they don’t work Friday nights?) and they said no. The poor waitress felt horrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would give it zero stars if I could.Dietary restrictions: They aren’t understanding of those not wanting to eat raw meat.

This little place packs a big punch for flavor and atmosphere. Parking is the only negative but that’s life on Spring Street.The staff really hustled to handle the crowd. I came for restaurant week and I’ll be back again.

Was here yesterday and dealt with discrimination from the so-called “bartender/owner”. They clearly have a target customer base and do not desire being patronized by people of my color. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Flawless experience. My girlfriend and I came here for lunch and we had a fine time. The appetizer trio featured two flavors of salsa and both were fire. The queso and the gauc were equally on point. The service was great and our food came out quick. Definitely check this place out.
Recently traveled to Charleston and stayed nearby Pink Cactus. We were drawn by their pink lights and atmosphere. After a day of walking around we were pleased to split the trio of dips and a quesadilla. The dips were a perfect shareable. I am always in for a tray of dips! Service was quick but it wasn't very crowded when we were there. We were able to walk in without a reservation and get seated right away.

Pink Cactus is a great place for a selection of margaritas and Mexican food. I'm not a fan of margaritas and the bartender is always happy to make me a custom drink. This is a plus in my opinion. I have always walked in and have been seated right away. Great environment for lunch and dinner!

We recently traveled to Charleston, SC and stayed in a rental right across the street from the Pink Cactus. It was so close, we went inside to try it out. We were so glad we did. Inside it was quaint and cute. There were many people dining in groups having what looked to be good conversations. The time we went was Tequila and Taco hour. My wife got the pink cactus, I got the mango margarita and everyone in the family order tacos. Everything was delicious, our wait staff was fun to talk to, professional and helpful, the service was quick. We had a great time!
